Big Apartment, (2 double beds & 2 singles (3 bedrooms)), balcony, top location, right in the center. Good communication with the person on the spot that came and arrange/explained the little things we asked (new frypan, bedside lamp ...). Also: it is a 3rd floor (no elevator) (maybe it has been change in the description since then); No access with car, you need to get dropped a little bit before on the side street, but close enough. Though, Quality/price is ok.

But because top location then noisy/music with restaurants below, until late (so youngsters ok, family be aware); and there is like a constant "spinning washing machine" noise. Shower hot water works properly once you turn in on on the electrical panel, but not the kitchen/bath sink. It needs a kitchen hood/extractor.

Er is geen wasmachine aanwezig in het appartement en een grotere koelkast zou fijn zijn. Maar overall een mooie tijd gehad. Personeel was gedurende ons verblijf de hele tijd beschikbaar.

Big and clean apartment . Location is amazing, in the middle of the restaurants, shops and activities. Very nice and helpful staff.

Exceptional location - heart of the city centre. Spacious bedrooms. Ideal for both families or groups of people. Clean.

3rd floor-no elevator. Not all balcony doors would lock-unsafe for children-landlord is aware and this will be shorted. Minor issues with hot water-shorted out with no issues.

There really needs to be signs on the doors so you know which of the identical doors leads to the bathroom or kitchen and not to a bedroom.

The location, price, and amount of space was excellent. We were easily able to fit in our entire extended family with the three spacious bedrooms and the very large and comfortable sofa bed. Property management was very responsive to questions (we had a little trouble finding the place, as it is located in an area that is not accessible directly by car) and there was a water outage during our stay. The amenities were abundantly supplied—the fridge was full of bottled water, and we had plenty of toilet paper, soap, etc.

The listing advertised “free parking.” Apparently, if I had read the listing more carefully, “free parking” means, “you may park for free on nearby streets if you can find a spot.” I’m sure no deceit was intended, but I feel like “free parking” was misleading. It certainly was a bit difficult when we arrived at 22:30 with a car full of young children and luggage. For others considering this place, you should be aware that there is no parking provided at the venue, not even for temporary loading and unloading. The property is located on a floor above the Central Park Cafe, and the streets around the Cafe are apparently not open to normal vehicle traffic. The closest I could get was on the other side of the park, about 100m away. I was informed by a local proprietor that even that area is not legal for parking, but I was able to leave the car there with the flashers on for about 15-20 minutes while I unloaded the family & luggage and trucked it all across the square. Finding street parking in that area of Heraklion, especially in the evening, is very uncertain. However, there is a nice, reasonably priced (12 euro per 24 hours) parking garage very close. Also, it felt like the apartment hadn’t quite been finished. Just little things—no hooks for towels near the sink or the shower, the toilet seat was on but not yet attached, and the living room and kitchen still had their big, heavy office doors attached. The electrical outlets don’t seem to have been reconfigured for living space either. But, all that said, it was an excellent deal for the price—plenty of space and beds and a kitchen. A microwave would be a nice touch, but, again, for the price and number of people you can put up comfortably, I couldn’t find anything else close.
