Summer Colors rooms & apartments

This is a hidden gem away from the busy life of Sorrento! Meta is such a lovely wee place, quiet and suitable for a family or couple looking for a peaceful time. Bus every 20 mins to Sorrento, if you want night life. Supermarket very close by. Beach 10 min walk down hill. There’s a lift to the beach, as well as stairs. The apartment was immaculate. Freshly decorated rooms, very clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable! I think the room size is bigger than they seem in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. We had a great sleep each night. The shutters keep all the light out so you have a great sleep. The air con is a welcome facility! It can be set to ‘Quiet’ so it is not noisy and doesn’t wake you if sleeping. The pool was a great size for the number of rooms. Good choice of sun beds. Pool gets the sun all day til about 5pm. It was never very busy, plenty of room for half a dozen people. Garden was beautiful and comfortable to stay in. The apartment is on a gated entry road, so very safe and off of the main road, meaning no traffic or noise directly outside the apartment. Quiet and peaceful!

We loved everything!

We enjoyed the pool at the property and the room was nice and spacious. The room featured a nice balcony. We were able to leave our luggage after we had checked out which was very useful. The host also had a very good restaurant recommendation which was easy to find and delicious.

We would have liked if the pool was open longer during the day as it is only open 0900-1900. To access the property and room there were two seperate keys which we found to be cumbersome. Rooms were cleaned between 0900-1200 each day and therefore felt that we had to be out of the rooms between those hours each day. We stayed for four nights and during our stay did not receive clean towels or sheets which we expected at least once during our stay especially when there is such a large time blocked out for cleaning.

This apartment was amazing and a super place to spend a couple of days relax after a weeks hiking / The communal area and pool was amazing and the gardens so well maintained and instilled an essence of calmness . The pictures on the site certainly don’t do full justice to reality . Cleanliness is impeccable . Rita was so helpful , friendly and warm . There is a local beach which is amazing and sits under a cliff top with sand . It’s a slender walk down the incline and not too much trouble for an able person . Would certainly enjoy another visit .

If I had one comment , it would be to add a griddle to the communal indoor area next to the pool . Not a must , however the gardens are beautiful and be great to have some cuisine next to the pool if possible .

A lovely place to stay in Meta close to Sorrento and other lovely destinations. Rooms are nice and clean with good air conditioning and the swimming pool is lovely if you want to have a day at the villa. Host was welcoming and friendly and helpful with local information. A really great find and so pleased we stayed.

Clean, good location, friendly staff, beautiful well kept gardens and pool.

Only issue that couldn’t be controlled was that the neighbours of the garden burn the foliage of their gardens at certain times of the day, and this is allowed by the municipality of Meta. At night you can sleep with the windows closed and the air conditioning turned on which resolves this problem. Unfortunately, we don’t like sleeping with air conditioning on which meant that on several occasions we had to get up very early to close windows as the smell of smoke woke us up.

It’s located in the quiet street, has a beautiful garden and it’s near the beach. Rita was a perfect host, very kind and helpful.

The bed and pillows could be more comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in the Summer Colours rooms. It's a beautiful villa with a pool, nice garden, and located in a quiet area. The host is super friendly and helpful, she provided additional information about cafes and excursions. Everyday room service with cleaning once in two days.

The refrigerator turns off work when you remove the key card and go out.
