Our stay at this BnB in Castellammare di Stabia was very disappointing. We stayed for four days, which we only endured because there was no refund for the steep price we paid. Starting with the check-in: although we were told we could arrive between 3 pm and 6 pm, and agreed to arrive between 3 pm and 4 pm, when we got there at 3:15 pm, we were asked to wait until 6 pm. The owner eventually met us at 5:15 pm. For our four-day stay, the owner provided only two small towels and two regular towels. When we asked if we could get fresh ones, she flatly refused, and there’s no laundry on the premises. The BnB is just a room in an apartment, and the view from the balcony overlooks a dirty alley filled with trash. Additionally, she charges for coffee, tea, and other items in the room, with only one coffee provided for free upon arrival. It’s best to bring your own. There’s even a note on the main door warning guests not to lock it, or they’ll face a fee. Overall, the atmosphere felt as though the owner was focused on squeezing every euro she could. She also rented out another room to a couple, and after they used the shower, there was no hot water left for us. We would not stay here again.
