Blue Joys Marine Sports Resort

Really good place for vacation! Quite and beautiful. The employees and the owner are very nice and welcome us. After they know we were on honeymoon, they give us a surprise (show on photo). The restaurant there provides traditional Chinese food. We highly recommend “cold ginger chicken”, “double cooked pork” and “fried milk curd”. And if you want to take nice photo during the sun set, you can ask them give you a sun set platter (that is for free, but if you don’t ask, you will not get that little fancy things). By the way, the “Ube latte” is so good! Must try that! This resort has port transportation. From Siquijor port 500PHP/trip; From Larena port 800PHP/trip; From Lazi port 400PHP/trip. They don’t provide car or motorcycle rental. And their location is good as well, if you drive 10-20 minutes, you can reach most popular restaurants or bar on this island! Their are newly opened, so they probably gonna give most of the customers some surprise (you can try to ask them, like we tell them we are in honeymoon when we book the room)

Siquijor, Philippines, March 2023 Please do not stay at this resort. We stayed there for three nights and it was the worst experience ever. My wife and I will never stay here again. I have been traveling the Philippines for 15 years and have never experience such terrible environment. There is absolutely no privacy in your room. You can hear what the neighbor says, and does all night long. They will keep you up till 2- 3 o’clock in the morning with loud TVs and private information that you do not want to hear. The Chinese owner treats his employees like they are his slaves. Working them 16 hours a day on minimum wage. He is such an a hole!water pressure at the bathroom sink is the lowest I’ve ever seen at any resort. So it should go without saying that we had no hot water. The staff was wonderful. The sun sets are really nice. The swimming pool is nice. On a scale of 1 to 5. I would give them a one at best. This is JB from North Carolina, USA.
