1521 Hotel & Spa

1521 is a nice hotel and we would stay again. The breakfast was good and they have a pool. The room was large and comfortable. Our only issue is the location which is not convenient to shops or restaurants. The value we got for the stay was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay here at 1521. I was hesitant to book at first because of the price (it's cheap :) but I'm glad I choose to stay here. I booked two family rooms for the first two nights (I choose the option of two queen beds in each room when I booked weeks prior to arrival but got the 3 twin beds instead. Not too happy about that, but it's ok. We just put the two beds together). Then I choose the signature twin the 3rd night since 5 of my party already left. The price is definitely good for the services and the facility. Minor complaints: stained towel and the shower is slow draining so the water gets a bit high during shower. But the convenience to go places (taxi, jeepney) are just outside the hotel. They have a pool at the hotel. But we checked out the beach and the 2nd pool, which is separate from the hotel (about 5-10 minutes ride.) They have two schedules for the shuttle (9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) You can stay at the beach and pool area until 8 p.m. The pool is nice, but the beach is not that great. The kids had fun swimming at the pool but opt out to swim at the beach. The cabanas are great for relaxing. They also have restaurant and a bar at the pool and beach area. The hotel staff and the beach area staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant food inside the hotel is awesome. We really enjoyed our dinner at Joey's table. We also love the roof deck with bar and the spa on the 7th floor. Our stay at this facility is excellent overall.

Facility is clean. The food at Joey’s table is excellent . The breakfast buffet is good enough. The beddings in the room are really nice. Beds are confortable. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The only complaint is the internet is somewhat slow. Overall, our stay was excellent. Everything is surprisingly wonderful for the price you pay. Thank you 1521 hotel and Spa! :)
