a lot of things, 1) the price is overrated. 2) There are no towels in the room. 3) Establishment is too noisy, and the management does nothing. It feels like the local market until more than 3 a.m. and it starts again at 7 a.m. 4) we had a king side bed, and the sheets were Queen size, so I had to sleep on the unprotected mattress. 5) The water in the pool was partially green and didn't make us want to swim

The clean, big rooms with good aircons and bathrooms. The pools and the cleanliness of the place.

Buffet breakfast was a joke, with the choices of just rice, eggs, longganisa and fish - and apart from the fish most were emptied as soon as they were refilled because refilling one of them took always 10+ minutes. So unless they expand their buffet I'd suggest ignoring it right now. Bad access for people with disabilities, which only got access to rooms with bunk beds. (To be fair, we forgot to ask)

Everything else about Bernese was great, esp that they are pet-friendly. The restaurant good was great (some items excellent actually). Staff was very nice and accomodating. What I didn’t like about it was the fact that the faucet barely had water and the bathroom fixtures were quite poor. Also, and this is just a small matter that should not detract from our overall impression, there’s just too much plastic plants and flowers all around. Other than that, we recommend Bernese and will definitely be back!

Hidden but very nice. Staff and owner is ensuring about your comfort and accomodated. We left very early the next day and the staff even cooked and lacked our breakfast to go.

No tip jar for the staff!!!They deserve it, even the gate guard...
