Rose Apartments

A very cosy place nestled in beautiful tropical nature. I slept very good, the breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed a lot talking to Rose and also to other travelers at the nice garden terrace. I wish I could have stayed longer. And if you need to work from abroad it’s your place. It’s quiet and it has very good WiFi!

We had an extremely disappointing stay at this accommodation. Upon arrival, we encountered an unsettling and unsafe situation. Since the pathway to the homestay wasn’t suitable for cars, we parked at an abandoned mill nearby. As we searched for the place, a drunk man with a bolo knife strapped to his waist approached us. Trying to stay calm, we followed him up the path, but when he suddenly stopped and began staring and smiling at my girlfriend, we felt unsafe and quickly returned to our car. We tried contacting the host for help, but she didn’t answer. Hoping things would improve, we went to the beach and returned later, only to find the entrance muddy and barely walkable. Rose greeted us with an annoyed demeanor. She claimed she had come to fetch us twice, and when my girlfriend explained the situation with the drunk man, Rose dismissed our concerns, insisting he was harmless. But we knew what we had experienced. Inside, the room was decent, but the bathroom was unforgivable. The showerhead was positioned directly above the toilet, making it nearly impossible to shower. There was no hot water, and the air conditioning was both loud and ineffective, making for an uncomfortable stay. Shockingly, the host later tried to charge us for the mud inside, even though the poor condition of the entrance made it unavoidable. She also accused us of running away, despite the fact that we had to rush back to the city due to my girlfriend’s food poisoning. Given the urgency, worrying about a bit of mud was the least of our concerns. This experience was stressful from start to finish, and the host’s lack of support only made it worse. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re prepared to deal with safety concerns, poor conditions, and unfair charges.

Rose created a beautiful cozy place that feels Well in balance with Anda. It's very relax, green, local and People are wonderfull and warm. The breakfast is an excellent start of the day! And if you need to get some work done, she has really fast wifi and a beautiful communal area to relax or work. And last but not least, rose is a really fun person to talk too, grab some food with at the local food Plaza. And final is that Jasmin and Boris are lovely dogs that great you always with that forever smile....

Cold shower is a bit awkwardly positioned over the toilet.

Rose was just wonderful, would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast could be a little bit more, but it was fine.

Everything. The vibe, the quiet and beautiful scenery in the forest, Rose and her sweet housekeeper, Boris and Jasmine (the two dogs) who welcomed us every time we were home.
