The Marc Vannelli Oslob

The staff accommodated us, who are the family of three, in the 14sq.m. Triple room behind the reception, the room number was 101. We did not expected it at all, because we booked 18sq.m. room, we kindly asked twice if we can have an another room, they told us all the rooms are booked, although on booking.com was 2 more triple rooms still available at that evening we arrived. That room was too narrow for us, also there was no mirror, no any shelves in the bathroom and no toilet paper. The door of wardrobe couldn’t be opened because of the table. The breakfast was poor, and coffee was instant.

Such a lovely hotel, everything is clean and new, breathtaking view from terraces (especially the one on the top) and balconies, clean pool with sea view and super nice staff. All the restaurants and shops are cca 3 km away, so you better have a scooter.

Good place to stay for a day or two! Good pool and the staff was awesome. Found a cockroach in our room but that’s probably normal for the area.

Marc Vannelli is quite beautiful and probably the nicest hotel in Oslob. The rooms are quite small but they are modern and very clean. This place is very cool and the design is funky! Unfortunately there are only stairs to the rooms, if you have mobility issues maybe find alternative, but they carry your bags up and down so we didn’t mind. They arranged our visit to the whale sharks with Kenneth and that was perfect. Their guide is the best, use them for a guaranteed experience. Make sure you go to the churches while in Oslob! This area is on the water and is SO BEAUTIFUL. The staff are amazing at Marc Vannell! Salamat!

Beautiful scenery, nice clean pool, very kind staff. Food and drinks took some time to make but were great when delivered. Nice balcony with seats and table.

Ants everywhere. We have swapped 3 rooms but after a few hours they just found their way to you. I also found lot of bugs everywhere, even in bed (no bed bugs) and particularly under the bed was like spider-man's lair. They could have clean that. But even though, the room with the king's bed with the view on the ocean was absolutely magical.

Fabulous location with the waves washing around the hotel. A surprise to see turtles swimming close by. Very clean hotel. Great deck for a meal and drinks. We had an early dinner, large servings, food was good. Nothing really close by. We stayed overnight to do whale shark swimming in Oslob as it was a 4 1/2 hour drive there and back from Cebu.
