This was my first time travelling abroad on my own and my priorities were to have a safe, clean and comfortable apartment in a good location. Basically the same as everyone else! The moment I stepped in to my room (Stella) I felt so happy, it was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and had a lovely view of the little square below and the rooftops. Just to mention the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Practical things: there is a lift to use which was small but perfectly clean, the entrance and hallways were clean and well lit, tea and coffee pods were provided and you could top up from the table in the hall, my room had a mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle and two hob stove. The lady who cleans came every day and kept everything immaculate. To gain access you will have received WhatsApp messages from Stefania explaining how to gain access and it went fine, just make sure you have data and charge otherwise might be tricky! There is a medium size Co-op behind the building which was brilliant, the deli would make up rolls for you and had all the usual things you wanted and overall I purchased everything I needed from here. Location: 20 minutes from the main bus stop, lovely walk along the promenade, couple of turns and you are there also the area around the apartment is full of little gift, craft and cafes! I would come here again 100%

My stay was too short🤣

The room was cute and extremely clean. Perfectly furnished bathroom, with spotless fixtures and vanities. House keeping was passing every single day, with no exception. The manager was very friendly and attentive to any request. The apartment's position is absolutely strategic: right in Salerno old town, it is a five minute walk away from every attraction.

The only serious problem of the room was the noise level at night. Piazza Matteotti is host to a late-night cocktail bar and people tend to hang out cheering and yelling until the wee hours daily (till 1-2am and weekdays are no exception). An unfortunate "echo" effect amplified the roaring and funneled it right into the room. Same goes for the trash trucks that pass very early in the morning, with a prolonged and loud whoosh. If you are a heavy sleeper these may not be issues, but if you need quiet to sleep the night noise might make the experience unpleasant.

The room was really nice and had all we needed. The building and the area surrounding it was awful. There were garbage bags all around the entrance in the front and back, it was a very bad entrance, with a very precarious elevator. The building needs renewal and the area needs cleaning.

Gave us a great recommendation on a restaurant for my birthday- Mediterranea. Secure, elevator a plus, Coop grocery store right behind building. WiFi good. Older building (Italian charm!) but renovated well. Pretty good supply of pans/dishes - induction cooktop! Very attentive hostess (owner?) but not intrusive. Great stay!

The location was close to trains, the port , and the historical area. Our room was comfortable , and we loved how it was decorated .

Well located with easy access to transportation. Staff were amazing and very helpful - available by What’s App for questions and tips, they were able to provide laundry service for a small fee (€ 10) and it was so carefully and thoughtfully folded and laid out for us upon our return for the day.

There is construction going on during the weekdays from 0700 - 1700 (October 2024). It is very loud, so if you plan to be in the room during the day to rest or nap think twice. Door to the small balcony was broken and difficult to open.

Clean and comfortable. Good size room (we only had carry on luggage). Room was cleaned after two days, we did not expect that and were pleasantly surprised. Good noise insulation from other guests in corridor sharing the floor. We were four floors up and could hear pleasant street noise of people chattering because we kept our window open as we didn’t need aircon in mid October.

The only small plumbing issue was that It took a long time for hot water to arrive and it did.
