"Beautiful corner of paradise away from all"

Beautiful resort! Very peaceful and quiet with great facilities. Room was big and very clean. Nice pool. Great food and surprised to be able to experiment the ostrich meat.

A bit far away from everything. Lifestyle is in Alona beach with is 10km away. It is suggested to hire a scooter, but be aware as they will charge efty extra hours. The cliff 600m is not really worth visiting

Lovely staff.. Pool and bar/resto area were nice. Decent rooms. Good wifi. Cosy resort. Would stay again.

No complaints. Could benefit from more variety of food, particularly breakfast.

"For excellent service, delicious food and a great peaceful sleep this place has it all."

The rooms were quite big which made it very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and after months of travelling I probably had the best sleep. The morning breakfast was generous and full of local fresh ingredients. We also ate some other meals here and their specialty is ostrich and I can attest it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were very good taking care of all our needs. The pool was so nice at anytime of day to relax. I highly recommend The Mayan Resort to everyone.

The location is a bit remote but you can get anywhere with a tuk tuk or as many others do by scooter. It was very quiet which we liked.
