If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, keep looking. But if you want to feel truly at home, this is it: from the moment you arrive, you're welcomed like family. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely caring. The atmosphere is relaxed and open, the location is perfect - just a short walk from the beach - and the rooftop shifts effortlessly from a quiet, contemplative space in the morning to a vibrant hub in the evenings. Everything is spotless, the breakfasts are rich and nourishing, and the shared ritual of lunches and dinners create a beautiful sense of community. All of this and even more , makes this place an oasis of peace you’ll want to return to again and again.

Very nice hostel. The beds are comfortable and I especially liked the privacy from the bunk beds. The staff is kind and helpful at all times. Wifi was a bit unstable on the terrace but if you are not using it for work, it is enough. The terrace upstairs is very nice for chilling and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. I recommend staying there!

This was a great hostel experience from top to bottom, Macin and Zahra and Fatima were all lovely hosts and we all loved Zahra's cooking, tajines and traditional Moroccan cuisine. I liked that the breakfasts included fresh vegetables. The bed was comfy, quiet, cleaned often, nice bathrooms, I used the washing machine once, that was nice. I met other travelers on the rooftop, some great people passed through while I was there. There is a nice pizza and Moroccan restaurant at the foot of the hill called Timam pizzeria, and there is a good restaurant in Awri a mile or so away called Al Baraka. I would definitely return.

The rooftop lounge area has very little shade and gets way too hot in the mid-late afternoon

The staff member was very friendly and helpful and made up for the initial very unpleasant situation with the dogs

Be careful of the stray dogs roaming around the hotel entrance. One of them attacked and bit me. Unfortunately, none of the owners of these dogs from the nearby houses seem to care about them. Furthermore, the room and bathroom smelled very bad when I arrived. The owner should address this to prevent unpleasant odors from the sewage

The communication from the start with Laurens and Simon made me feel like a part of the family, like we've known each other already. very swift and friendly responses! Mouhcin and Abdu were two very laidback and chilled dudes. They made the experience of the stay elevated to the next level! Mouhcin is very helpful and caring he would do his best to help with our needs. The housekeeping lady did such a great job keeping the whole house clean and tidy from top to bottom. Bathrooms and toilets are always clean and tidy! She also is a great cook. Our dinners were prepared by her every night. I enjoyed the family dinner so much. It's so nice to sit with the other travellers and the staff round the table to spend the night together. my airport taxi was arranged by them as well which was a smooth experience. and also I had two surf lessons arranged by them with a greeeeat surf instructor. Bed was very comfy! This house has adopted a chinese culture (as inroduced by Abdu) - no wearing shoes in the house, which I also enjoyed very much! They know their "Why" and their "how" and "what" are a clear expression of their why- a Homey experience for travellers. I can't wait to come back to see these guys again and also their lovely cat and dogs!! <3

The light in my room flickered when turned on. have to turn it off and on a few times to make it work. Otherwise I have NO complaints :) a suggestion for potential guests- bring ear plugs! the dogs in the streets bark from time to time at night.
