Sofa very hard and uncomfortable.4 kitchen chairs but apartment sleeps 6. WiFi not good in one bedroom. The most horrendous smell from drains in en-suite bathroom, host stuck sellotape over drain cover on bathroom floor but smell lingered over 18 night stay. No clean bedding offered - not very nice considering price of accommodation. Previous apartment in Chania last year had cleaning services including bed linens and towel changes. Also roadworks outside apartment for the length of our stay.

No food was provided except 2litres of water, some coffee pods & sweet biscuits. However, the apartment was spacious with a huge outside living area on the balcony. The position was convenient- only a short 5 minute walk to the Old Town and Chania Harbour. We loved exploring this area and enjoyed excellent restaurants close to the water. A supermarket and the bus station were less than 10 minutes from the apartment. A car park was allocated to us but we didn’t have a car. The owner’s parents came to give us the new keys and to offer their help if needed. They recommended a local taxi driver who we used to go touring. We stayed 8 days in Chania and enjoyed the stay and people we met. Both bathrooms had showers with good water pressure and instant heat. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Some milk and normal tea bags would have been appreciated.

Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Balconies, a good washing machine, good cooking appliances, good shower, comfortable beds, private parking. Lovely lighting and fittings in general.

Almost nothing negative. The washing machine had been closed before it had dried out so it took a few cycles to clean it. Slight overflow of water in one bathroom related to the same washing machine. All minor.

Great location, just a short walk from the harbor. Nice neighborhood with some good local shops for coffee, pizza and groceries. Off street parking is a big plus.

The property was very spacious, very clean and well equipped. Marilyn was fantastic at responding speedily to any little queries and arranging transfers. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was ideal being centrally located and within walking distance of the harbour, the beach and local amenities including a 24 hour supermarket.

The apartment couldn’t be faulted.

Spotless! Even on day 5 walking into the apartment it smelled fresh and clean. Also very spacious, suited our family of 5 perfectly, our girls 13 and 21 shared a room and our 18 year old son had his own. Location a huge plus as it was within walking distance to the town center and old town Chania.
