The only positive is that the place is fairly clean. The location, however, is situated more than 20 stairs above ground level, with no elevator or accessibility, making it inconvenient.

We arrived late at night and the evening receptionist/manager, Hicham, was one of the rudest and most dismissive hotel staff I have ever dealt with. The room was cold, the AC never warmed it up, and the electricity kept tripping multiple times during the night, leaving us freezing. When I raised these issues, Hicham, who does not speak English, called the owner (who lives in Canada) and handed me the phone. Instead of listening and trying to solve the problem, the owner claimed that such issues were “normal” even in the U.S. and Canada, which is simply not true. When I mentioned how bad the customer service was, Hicham abruptly grabbed the phone from my hand, angrily threw the AC remote into the room, and walked out. Hot water ran out after one shower, so the second person had only cold water, and there was constant noise in the building. Most worrying, after I posted my review here, the same manager contacted me privately on WhatsApp using my booking details and sent an extremely abusive, threatening message that included explicit racist insults toward Indians. This confirms that my comments about his behavior were accurate and raises serious questions about guest safety and basic respect for customers. I strongly advise Booking.com to review this behavior and other guests to avoid this property.

Decoración típica de los establecimientos de La Medina, bien conservado y limpio. Hemos estado en más Riad y éste en relación calidad-precio nos ha parecido el mejor. La presión del agua era buena y su temperatura generalmente también, algún día parecía que se había terminado el agua caliente del calderín, pero sin problemas.

se sube directamente por unas escaleras a la primera planta donde está la recepción. La puerta está generalmente siempre cerrada y hay que llamar al timbre para que te abran, o si es de noche enviar whatsapp para que te abran sin molestar a los demás. Nuestra habitación daba a la calle principal y había mucho ruido de motos, coches… pero para nosotros no ha sido problema.
