GBAlthough we didn’t use it the swimming pool looked nice and the area around the swimming pool. My daughter loved the pool table.
The host seemed quite shy and not very engaging so at times felt awkward. The room could do with a refresh as it was tatty in places. It says there is a tv but tv does not work although not important. But as it gets dark quite early in Sri Lanka watching the tv to relax in the evening might have been nice. On the second night could not get WiFi at all. Breakfast was nice although cold which was slightly off putting when its chicken curry etc
BETheir go to tuktuk driver was unfortunately not very good, we were driving in the wrong direction after noticing and trying to correct her she assured us it was the correct way, which was not. We ended up with a 30min delay to our destination

IEStaff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. As were all of the locals who lived nearby. Lovely people. Lots of flora and fauna. A bird watchers paradise. Food cooked at the hotel was good.
Very few places to eat other than at the hotel.
CHThe villa is in a quiet area. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool and enjoyed the different games available like the billiard table. Aloka made sure we had great meals and showed us a river with small waterfalls in the area where the kids could take a swim which was great.

PLThe Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.
