Excellent value for money

Only the location

- No tent (as shown on the web pictures!) or umbrella on the terrace, so no shadow and therefore difficult to enjoy this part of the apartment during day time. The terrace was on top of it dirty (including bottles of beers from previous visitors). - Beds small and mattress uncomfortable. - Air conditioning noisy (we had to stop it during the night despite the heat). - Missing kitchen furniture (for example only 3 glasses...) - Toilet seat broken, several inside curtains broken (can not be lifted), shower linking - We had an issue with the electricity the first evening, but nobody answering the "emergency" or "out of hours" phone number indicated in the apartment. - Steep and long stairs to get to the second floor (not convenient if you have heavy luggage). - Difficult to find parking place in the neighborhood. A lot of small things, that all together make you unhappy at the end. Definitely not a good choice, especially considering the high rental rates for Heraklion. The worst is that we mentioned our concerns in the check out online survey, but nobody even took the time to answer us or apologize!

It was very well located between the port and the main town. The rooms were clean and the apartment was spacious for a family. There were air conditioners throughout the apartment and not just in bedrooms.

When we arrived, there were significantly more stairs than expected which was a bit of a problem. The shower and toilet were also temperamental, however did the job.

The location. Perfect! Nice bed.

The drain in the bathroom was full, water in the bathroom floor at all the time. Toilet seat broken. Blinders broke. Poor equipment in the kitchen or broken. The sun sail on the top flor terrace was gone, mad it impossible to sit there during sunny hours.

The house is located a few steps away from the heart of the city centre. All areas of the house are airconditioned. There is a very good size bathroom and good size kitchen. In total, there are 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom (toilet and sink) on the top floor. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom, with clothes lines and a horse rack on the roof level. The host kindly left us a bottle of water in the fridge. Overall, the house is modern and has all the amenities required to travel with family for a short stay. s

The stairs are very steep (there are 2 flights of steps- 1 from the main door to the living area/bathroom and 1st bedroom, and 1 to the 2 other bedrooms and roof). Was really scared as we travelled with a toddler. We couldn't figure out how to install the baby gates - might have had a missing piece. The water boiler is not always on, and you need to switch on a timer from the electricity box. The house has 3 bedrooms, however the bed arrangements are as follows: Bedroom 1 - double bed, Bedroom 2 - double sofa bed (which was a bit uncomfortable), Bedroom 3 - Single Bed.

The bathroom paint is coming off, the blind in the bedroom was broken so the room remain dark, the water was not really hot. we booked 4 people and 3 beds were only made

The location was excellent, and the host was helpful and prompt with information.

The apartment had some maintenance issues, the beds were hard and basic, and we needed to be forwarned that there were two steep flights of stairs to access the upstairs bedrooms.

Bonne adresse, il vaut mieux se garer au port et gravir les escaliers direction le centre pour aller au logement. Logement très fonctionnel, hormis les avions qui font pas mal de bruit, nous n’avons pas eu le moindre souci. Je recommande comme point de chute et aussi pour visiter le centre et le musée d’archéologie
