Riad Almisk

The staff really make this place special beyond all other places I have stayed. They are good at what they do, but they are also really friendly, attentive in an open and honest way… the smiles are real and they always go that extra mile to make you feel at home. The riad itself is lovely and of an excellent standard - strong hot showers, spotlessly clean rooms, really comfy beds, and a great breakfast. It has also managed to retain the historical beauty of a traditional riad, while also retaining a sense of family. Someone has put a lot of thought into this business. It is in the Kasbar area of the old town, so it is close to so many wonderful places to see, and some really good street food close by. I had planned on returning to the city next year and trying another riad, but now the Riad Almisk is the only place I will stay in future when I visit the city. I don’t care what fancy things the best hotels have, as they cannot beat what the Riad Almisk has, which is soul.

This was my our first time to Morocco and decided to stay in a Riad. After reading reviews, we selected Riad Almisk. We were very pleased. Mustafa our daily servicer or any additional needs, was truly amazing!!! Abdul at the front desk was also great! I would recommend this Riad. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating.

The Riad Almisk was a gem of a find located in the Kasbah area of Marrakech and within easy walking distance to the Jemaa el Fna. There are only 10 rooms and the 2 we had were a really high standard- very spacious, clean and with great facilities (including a kettle and TV). we had a tour with Karim who was excellent and very friendly- they have a very nice spa area for a hamman (steam and massage) though we didn't have time unfortutnately. They provided a welcoming mint tea on the rooftop terrace which is lovely and this was also where we had an excellent breakfast. Karim organised transport which was very good standard too and they took our party on the 3 hour driver to the coast at a reasonable cost. I would definitely stay here again - Shukran

Amazing stay at this Riad, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Warm welcome & prompt service. Neat and very clean room/washroom. Breakfast was incredible with aesthetic presentation. Inside was truly a marvel, wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend, until next time!

This is a gem of a riad in the Khasbar area of Marrakech. The local street is fantastic - great little cafes - Marana was fantastic for fresh meat skewers and a Moroccan salad. Karim and all the team at Almisk were genuinely hospitable and may our stay so comfortable. Breakfast was great and served on the roof terrace till 11. Great little sun spots on the terrace for afternoon chill time. The room was amazing (number 1) on ground floor and decor and tiling first class. We loved it and would definitely return. Hot air balloon flight was one of my best experiences yet - Morrocon Dream Balloons - bit more expensive through Viator but worth the extra for a truly professional experience. Quad biking for 3 hour trip was great fun too! So much to see and do! Location of the riad was perfect - you won’t be disappointed. Don’t be tempted to be too central - noisy at night. Take a warm jacket for the evenings and early morning.

We had such a lovely stay at Riad Almisk. It’s a beautiful building with comfy rooms and the staff were super friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s a 15min walk to the medina and near Bahia palace. I will definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Marrakesh.

They really took care of my mother for her 60th Birthday!

Beautiful Riad, amazing AMAZING staff! Incredibly clean and so beautifully kept. Rooms were a good size, everything felt very traditional and special! Lots of food options and lovely roof top! About 20 minutes walk to the main square, out of the madness enough so have some leave but not too far that it’s a chore to walk to everything! Highly recommend - The staff made our stay, so efficient, kind and fabulous!
