Dar Al Batoul

Nous venons de passer un très agréable séjour à Dar Al Batoul. C’est une très jolie demeure marocaine traditionnelle, notre chambre était très joliment décoré et on a profité d’un copieux petit déjeuner. Al Batoul est très bien placé pour visiter la médina ou pour sortir de la ville. Rashid était très accueillant et à nos petits soins. Un petit coucou à lui et à toute sa famille au passage. ☺️ Vraiment une super adresse !

J ai aimé l accueil de Rachid et sa gentillesse. Sa femme nous préparait de délicieux petits déjeuners. Le lieu était clair et spacieux ainsi que les chambres. La décoration était raffinée. La mosaïque splendide. Tout était parfait

Locate just at the entrance of the medina but close to a car park. Super handy if like us you have a lot of luggages. The rooms are very large, the building lovely and breakfast very good. But the best aspect is the service. They helped us with everything, from booking restaurants and taxi, lifting our luggages and even fetch diapers for our son.

The shower takes a very long time to get hot and it's a bit old.

Warm welcome and great responsiveness to any need. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful historical building. Location is convenient for both reaching the Medina and close to the parking.

The area we needed to cross to reach the Medina is a bit dodgy. We had some bad encounters on the way but managed to get away with it

We were lucky enough to book Dar Al Batoul on the morning of our stay since our other accommodation cancelled last minute. The staff were extremely helpful and everything ready for us in time. They brought us extra blankets for the chilly evenings and the breakfast and mint tea upon arrival were delicious.

The location is a bit of a walk out of the centre of the medina, but we had no issues walking back each evening

The riad is quite beautiful. I had the suite, which was spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I also had two dinners there, which were delicious with huge portions, prepared by Rahma. Raschid is the kind host. He was very caring and helpful. He recommended a nearby restaurant Dar Chadia for the first night’s dinner and it was especially good. He helped with the luggage and arranged an airport taxi. Located close to the medina. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. I highly recommend this riad for a great, tranquil stay where you will be well looked after.

Could mostly communicate OK, but sometimes needed Google Translate to communicate specifics with the staff, who don’t speak English. French helps.

This dar was very authentic and a good value for the price. Bedding was comfortable and tea was served in afternoon daily. Staff was very responsive and caring. They allowed us to add a night on pretty short notice. Rashid was super helpful with directions and getting a taxi several times. He was available whenever we needed him. He was gracious about storing my refrigerated medication. Tres bien!

My bathroom was on second floor, up steep stairs. I navigated the stairs alright, but it would be a problem if you don't have good vision and balance.
