Nice riad, nice rooms. Abdul was a very kind host.

Dirty neighbourhood.

Me and my fiancée stayed here for over a week and had the pleasure of meeting our host, Abdul, who really helped us settle into Marrakech, showed us all of the best spots to go to and was so friendly. The breakfast was so good, the rooms were very comfortable and intimate. I highly recommend staying there. Had a massive as per the hotel and was good, needed this when experiencing some back pain during my stay.

The mattress didn’t agree with my back and caused some back pain (was abit too firm for me as a side sleeper) but Abdul and the team provided me with an alternative bed to sleep on which helped reduced the pain. Even though it wasn’t their fault, they kindly offered us free dinner which was delicious! It was so kind of them and other than that, I loved everything about it!

Lovely place, with an extensive breakfast. Good communication with staff, we had a problem with our room and were easily placed into a different room.

Place is a bit hard to find, location not very nice but close enough to walk into the busy town

The Riad is an exquisitely decorated and homely place situated in an authentically Moroccan neighbourhood that mostly serves locals. It is, in my opinion, the perfect place to be - as you have many storefronts that you can buy water and other basic necessities from, and for the same price that the locals pay. Additionally, it is perhaps the safest area in Marrakesh as it is situated directly across from one of the largest police installations we encountered in Morocco. This super location was minutes away from the lovely Kasbah and Mellah districts, and only a few more minutes away from the Koutoubia Masjid, Djamma El-Fna, and the souks. Despite being surrounded by hustle and bustle, the Riad was remarkably quiet and completely devoid of the noise that permeates much of the city. From the rooftop terrace, one can look out at the palm-tree lined skyline and admire the Koutoubia Mosque’s minaret, listen to the beautiful idhan (call to prayer), and catch some of the most brilliant sunsets available on Earth. If you’re keen and patient, you might even catch a glimpse of the wild peacocks that roam the grounds just in front of the Riad!

From the moment we entered the Riad, Ibrahim, Murad, and Abdelhaleem all made us feel as if we were guests not in a hotel, but in their homes. The homeliness of the Riad was increased by the presence of numerous cats who lived on the property and were taken care of by guests and staff. The staff, namely those mentioned above and also Asmaa’, did a great job of attending to our every need and providing us with anything that we asked for. The beds were comfortable, the showers clean and apt, and the A/C was a godsend on the many hot days we spent in Marrakesh. Suffice to say, the amenities leave you wanting for nothing. 

The Riad was really epitomized by the kindness, friendliness, and downright perfect hospitality of the staff.

Bon accueil et très bon emplacement

Zur Begrüßung im Hotel gab es direkt einen Tee und Kekse. Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit, sie haben uns einiges zur Stadt erklärt, gute Restaurants empfohlen, gesagt wo Parkplätze sind. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, traditionell und super lecker. Das Badezimmer/Dusche ist schön groß, es gibt Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer.

Wir waren im Januar dort, das Zimmer war trotzdem kuschelig warm; nur beim Frühstück sitzt man Hof des Riad und dort war es etwas kalt, aber das gehört im Januar halt dazu :)

Everything was great! I got everything I needed and the atmosphere is calm, positive and unique. I love the colors and design. All very clean and nice. I want to give a special shoutout for Abdo, he’s taking care of everyone and offering help and recommendations! He’s managing the property really well. I would stay here again and recommend this place for my friend and you!
