Propre tres bon emplacement spacieux

I've rented scads of overnight apartments over the years and continents, many great ones and the occasional disappointment, but never the PERFECT one -- until now. Owner Oussama has created a masterpiece. The apartment is enormous and includes a giant Moroccan living room alongside a Western one -- take your pick. Two bedrooms, two toilets, and a discrete shower stall (rare in Morocco, where the shower is generally adjacent to the toilet). The shower stall even has a bench and hanging soap caddy, conveniences almost never seen in any lodging. You can wash your feet without crouching down on the floor. There's also a large, well equipped kitchen and an enormous indoor atrium with operable windows that, when open, allow songbirds to fly in and serenade guests. Most surfaces are covered with a variety of beautiful ceramic tiles, the floors with Berber carpets, and the walls with art and antiques. Seriously, I've toured small palaces that were less aesthetic. You can easily sleep 10 in this mansion and cook meals for them, too. The kitchen has a 4 burner stovetop (but no oven), coffee equipment, a washing machine, and even a small microwave, an appliance included in very few Moroccan kitchens. Oussama lives upstairs and is very solicitous. When we couldn't find a colander in the kitchen, one was delivered within minutes. Wifi is excellent (50 Mbps and up download and 90 Mbps upload), and there's a hammock in the atrium, which, by the way, is big enough to accommodate a future swimming pool (to be clear, there isn't one). All of this is offered at a very reasonable price, 63€/night for 2, Mon/Tue, late March. The location in Gueliz isn't in the heart of ancient Marrakesh, but the tradeoffs for that are the quiet neighborhood and plentiful street parking at the front door. We stayed three nights and left only reluctantly.

Beautiful home with clean, large rooms, lovely furnishings and quiet neighborhood. Easy street parking, local hammam a block away. The wifi was good and the TV worked. Large kitchen but we just made coffee and tea and ate out. Very large covered courtyard.

Nothing. Note this isn't in the middle of Marrakech city but an easy bus or taxi ride in. You can walk to restaurants and small shops too.

Great host, very communicative, was responding very quickly and was available at all times. The house was also great - in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, close to cafes and a shopping mall.

Unfortunately, there aren't many restaurants in the area - so getting the food was a bit annyoing. If you decide to stay here, eat out before heading back to rest.

Der Vermieter war hilfsbereit, und hat immer schnell geantwortet. Zugang zur Wohnung war problemlos und zu jeder Zeit über eine Schlüsselbox möglich. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen, gehobenen Wohnlage, und bietet mit Blick auf die großzügigen Räumlichkeiten und die aufwändige Verwendung von Marmor und Stuckarbeiten eine traumhafte Kulisse. Es war ausgesprochen sauber in der gesamten Wohnung. Die geräumige Küche bietet viel Platz, das Mobiliar ist insgesamt hochwertig, und die Wohnung ist mit zahlreichen großen TV-Geräten ausgestattet. Das WLAN war schnell und funktionierte einwandfrei.

Leider funktionierte in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer das auch als Heizung verwendbare Klimagerät nur bedingt. Da es noch sehr kalt im Haus war, mußten wir die beiden Geräte als Heizung in Betrieb nehmen. In meinem Zimmer verursachte das Gerät nach einer längeren Betriebszeit sehr laute Geräusche des Ventilators, um schließlich mitten in der Nacht nach immer stärker werdendem Lärm von selbst auszugehen, und nach einer bestimmten Abkühlzeit sich wieder einzuschalten. Durch die extreme Lautstärke wurde mein Schlaf in der Nacht vor der Abreise nach Deutschland stark beeinträchtigt. Schließlich muß noch beachtet werden, daß es in einem der beiden Badezimmer sehr lange dauert, bis heißes Wasser kommt. Durch die unglückliche Anbringung der Armaturen in Dusche und Waschbecken läßt sich in einem der beiden Badezimmer auch nur bedingt warmes Wasser nutzen. Generell sind die Armaturen in beiden Badezimmern erneuerungsbedürftig. Klima- und Heizgeräte sind nur in den Schlafzimmern, nicht aber im Wohnzimmer vorhanden.

Fantastyczne miejsce, do którego chce się wracać. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie, a właściciel to wzór gościnności – bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny na każdym kroku. Sam apartament zachwyca przestrzenią i kompletnym wyposażeniem. Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Bardzo dziękujemy za miłe przyjęcie!"
