Riad Botanica

The Riad is absolutely beautiful , pristine , sparkling clean and smells absolutely gorgeous the moment you walk in the door . We loved that it is a stones throw away from the bustling souks but is so quiet inside you would never know . The breakfast was lovely , staff lovely . We had a lovely welcome and were made to feel right at home. It really is a lovely little peaceful haven to come back to after a busy day in the souks and square . Ameen was the most friendly , knowledgable host and nothing was too much trouble for him. We also felt really safe and secure throughout our stay. The decor is so tasteful and a great mix of modern and traditional and the roof terrace is perfect to catch a few rays with a good book. We cant wait to come back.

The location was perfect. The food the staff were great. I would of love to stay longer.

The location to the riad ,coming home alone in the night is quite scary....Breakfast was very poor, cheap, and not worth the high price i paid for the accommodation....The staff weren't helpful, and I had to get help from staff of a riad next door..(For English speaking visitors to this riad, you are going to find it hard communicating)..I just did not feel welcomed, loved, or well attended to.. I just felt alone..not a good place for.solo travellers...as there is no staff willing to assist or attend to your needs...

Riad was very clean and was ascetically designed. It was really nice but not sure it was worth the extra money.

Email correspondence was a little laboured beforehand, with a number of my emails unanswered. The Riad lacked any sort of atmosphere and there was only 1 member of staff around which you couldn't always find. We were in the room by the birds, which were covered at 10.30pm, but still were quite loud through the night. Our room was small and very dark (suggest a lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom). I accept they have bigger rooms. One morning we had an early start so went up for breakfast at 8am but no staff turned up until 8.30am, so we had to leave early without finishing. Location was OK - felt safe walking back at night. Rooftop area was nice but very small.

The aesthetic of the property is perfect! In a great location to explore central Marrakesh but far enough out of the centre to feel calm and very safe. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and always happy to help. The breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious!

We stayed for two nights and we really enjoyed it! The design is stunning, the location is super convenient for exploring, and the ambiance of the home is serene and relaxing. The porter met us and helped carry our bags when we checked in and when we checked out. The breakfast was always fresh and so delicious. The owners were incredibly kind, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.

We stayed in one of the smallest rooms so it was a bit tight.
