Riad Sakura Marrakech

Everything was perfect! Newly renovated comfortable beautiful riad in the medina but quiet street. Very nicely decorated, spatious terras to enjoy sunshine. Delicious breakfast with Berber omelet. Very friendly host and staff, they made our vacation an unforgettable one. Thank you so much Eriko!

The service felt incredibly personal – we were very well looked after by Eriko and her staff. They were so attentive to all of our needs and quick to help whenever we encountered difficulties. When we needed to leave early for a tour we'd booked, they accommodated us by serving breakfast earlier than usual. Later, the driver for that tour ditched us, which could have potentially ruined the rest of our day. When Eriko found out, she saved the day by helping us book an excellent desert tour as a replacement – we had such a good time. Eriko is incredibly knowledgeable as a Marrakech local and if you get the chance, you should hear her amazing stories of her backpacking days as well as her unbelievable journey towards setting up her beautiful Riad. Special shout out to Yaya, Kaman and the rest of her staff who took care of us and made us feel welcome. We were also charmed by Eriko's gorgeous cats, Guri and Momo. It was so relaxing to play with them after a long day of walking. We had such a restful time at this Riad – we could not have asked for more. 💛

Because of the open-concept of the Riad's layout, you might overhear conversations from the ground level. But it's generally OK as there are a limited number of rooms and guests so we didn't find it too noisy during our stay.

This is an absolute gem of a place!! We feel very lucky to have stayed there, it is such a calm, peaceful and beautifully decorated haven away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. It is in a great location, with quick access to the shops of the Medina and the taxi access a short walk away. The owner Eriko and her staff will do everything possible to help you and make your stay feel really special, print boarding passes, give directions, advice, recommendations, bring trays of tea or coffee… Breakfast is delicious, filling and the local peanut sauce for the pancakes is yummy!! It’s 2 minutes from the taxi drop off point, follow signs for Riad Chafia, door is on the right side before t junction.

Very cute riad, in a very good location inside the medina. Very clean and very good breakfast. All thr was great 😊

We were a group of nine people and we had 4 separate rooms. 2 of the rooms were smelly, the other two rooms were great.

Wow, this place is absolutely perfect. The room was totally incredible, very comfortable and spacious with great style. The breakfast was excellent. The owner and staff are really kind and welcoming. Location is unbeatable, on a peaceful street in the Medina and close to everything. Staying here was a real highlight of our trip to Morocco.

Amazing Riad in a super quiet street. We felt immediately at home, safe and taken care of. We didn‘t find the Riad on our own, but the owner fetched and guided us. The Riad is incredibly beautiful and although we stayed just one night, we were super relaxed after the stay. The breakfast is delicious! Can highly recommend Riad Sakura. Would love to come back one day. :)
