Die Unterkunft war gut gelegen und war sauber und komfortabel, das Zimmer war schön und ähnlich den Bildern, nur ein wenig abgewohnter. Das Frühstück war für Sri Lanka verhältnismäßig gut, aber trotzdem nicht grandios

Direkt vor den Hotel kann man nicht im Meer baden, was uns nicht gestört hat, jedoch ist der Strand sehr schmal und das Hotel hat nur 10 Liegen, dementsprechend sind diese immer gleich vergriffen. Wer also eine Liege möchte muss sie um 7 Uhr morgens schon reservieren

Direkt am Strand, näher geht’s nicht, wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang, super nettes Personal, der Garnelen Teller war der Hammer, Zimmer sind in Ordnung, wir hatten eins mit Blick Innenhof, für 1-2 Tage OK, bei längerem Aufenthalt hätten wir das größere Zimmer mit Meerblick genommen…

Rooms too small

First, the location is great. You enter from Hikkaduwa high street and in the end of a short hall you bump into a pool (nice and clean) followed by a strip of sand and Indian ocean. There is always half a dozen of tuk-tuks at hotel entrance competing to take you to the central beach in 40 seconds for 0.5£ - consider it a kind of elevator service. This central beach (the Turtle beach) is a better place to swim as it has no rocks at all and (almost) no waves and does have 4-5 friendly giant turtles roaming around at any time of the day. A little bit crowded though. The hotel itself: well designed both in terms of user experience and how it looks. Think of having a shower room next to your own micro-garden. Spacious rooms, stylish antique wooden drawers, designer armchairs, stadium-sized bed. Last but not least: a cork screw, a EU-to-local socket adapter and an anti-mosquito device all available in the room before you realize you need them. The team (and the hotel co-owner Anastasia in particular) is great at problem solving. We arrived with a child and a grandmother in her 70s, and a brief conversation was enough to get a child bed moved into the room the way we wanted and to change the grandmother's room upstairs for the one that doesn't require climbing any steps with a sea view as a bonus (at no additional price - it was a big surprise for me). Super-friendly, well maintained, highly recommended.

Få solstolar som står paxade men oanvända under långa perioder. Frukosten ganska spartansk.

Great location right in the centre of town. Hotel is on the beach with pool overlooking the ocean. Hotel staff are amazing and so attentive!

The staff were amazing. The food was tasty and the cocktails were fab. We travelled with our 6 year old and every staff member welcomed her with open arms. It felt like a family. Kind and humble. The pool and beach location hard to beat. The bedsheets and towels were lovely and fresh. Shower was great.

It was a bit tired in places and WiFi coverage intermittent and poor. That said would still highly recommend.
