Hôtel neuf, très propre et confortable.

Our tree house had its own pool which was an added luxury. Staff were very attentive and did their best to meet our needs.

There was building work going on right next to our accommodation which was very noisy and not very relaxing when we were in our pool. We were not informed about this which was annoying. They have very little alcohol on the premises and ran out of wine which wasn’t replenished during our stay.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Roof top infinity pool was beautiful overlooking Kandy. Wish we could have stayed longer but only there for one night on our Sri Lanka trip. Had to be away for 5am and the team made up breakfast boxes for two people which was a nice touch.

Nothing as only there for less than 24 hours.

The Trees is well located, close enough to walk to the lake and town, but higher up which creates a feeling of space and tranquillity, away from the hubbub. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with good quality white linen, a view of the lake would have been preferable but perhaps you have to select that on booking. The foyer is impressive and on each floor there are large beautiful planters - like a little indoor garden which I saw being watered in the morning. Tea and a lotus flower 🪷 on arrival, a lovely touch. Thanks 🙏

Fine for us, but the uphill walk back from town is a tad steep and may not be suitable for some. I did it twice and felt like I’d done a leg workout the day after we left.

Cannot fault the hotel. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

The weather but that cannot be controlled by the hotel !!
