Spicepeek Boutique Hotel CMB Airport

A good place to stay for the last night before an early morning flight. Everything was fine, without anything in particular to highlight or criticise.

As we left early for a flight, breakfast was packed to go, but it was rather underwhelming — basic sandwiches that were dry and not particularly enjoyable.

It’s close proximity to the airport. Supermarket 100m away. Pool was great, bathroom was nice, beds comfortable after a long day of travel, staff were polite and helpful, airport pickup was efficient

Great location for the airport which is why we booked this hotel. The hotel also organise your airport drop off too as this was included within the stay. The room was very spacious with good aircon

There are only 3 Sunbed’s if you want to chill around the pool. As these were taken, we stayed on our balcony to catch the last of the sun

Breakfast was adequate, if a little unimaginative. The pool outside in the courtyard was good after a day exploring in the heat! Staff were helpful and very polite. The room and bathroom were quite large, with good cupboard space and a safe. A practical place to stay for a night or two close to the airport and easy access to Negombo itself. The small terrace led straight into the pool which was nice although quite deep and the steps were at the other end!

The air-con was a little noisy and the pillows were too high for me. I did ask for smaller ones, but they either did not have them or forgot! The floor to ceiling window in the bathroom was not very practical! You had to pull the blind right down for privacy. We did make a suggestion that they use opaque stick on film on the lower half of the window - at least then there would be adequite light.

The staff was nice and welcoming. The airport pick up was super convenient. The rooms were spacious and modern. The breakfast was cute

The room wasn't super super clean. When we arrived we were missing some towels for the shower and there was no hot water in the shower both at night and in the morning.
