Amazing location with breathtaking views and a spectacular setting. Pictures do not do justice so if you are planning to do a visit to Cinque Terre you should choose this place. The crazy thing is that I read reviews about the drive, terrain and the remoteness so I had an idea of what to expect. What I envisioned was pretty darn accurate! Tight roads, steep cliffs, hairpin turns all while climbing and dropping to what id say one of the highest peaks within the rugged landscape. Plan to have a vehicle that can handle all of this along with a positive outlook and a love for adventure….because chances are, you will get lost. But don’t lose hope… Along the way between the freeway exit and Vernazza you’ll find a quaint stop named Bistrot PZ. Pop in and Rolando and staff will get you relaxed with a limoncello and will reassure your decision to stay at Locanda Valeria was one of the best decisions you made during your vacation. Once you arrive, you will be taken care of by a wonderful staff (including the Gatta) who is the ‘principessa’ of the grounds. Don’t overlook this location, it truly is a gem and if you are the type to refrain from sharing space with tons of tourists crowding your vibe, look no further and book it. Ciao 🇮🇹

Nous avons passé une très belle soirée et nuit. La vue magnifique, c’est très calme et reposant loin de l’agitation touristique des villages des cinq terres. Nous n’avons vu que trop tard mais il y a bien un sentier visiblement qui descend au village.
Quiet location with a great view above the sea and part of Cinque Terre. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Awesome breakfast. Highly recommended!
What an amazing stay! The host were so friendly and breakfast was amazing. A.c in the room worked and the view was great. The room was great for two people. The hike down to town was steeo and short, it was fun for us because we are active and do it often. If you are out of shape I would not reccomend unless you are willing to drive to town or pay for a taxi. It was perfect for our short trip.

We stayed only one night to finish off our 2 week Italy vacation. It was well worth the short taxi drive there to enjoy the spectacular views and quiet retreat from Rome and Naples. Warm hospitality with a generous breakfast!
