Clean and quiet

Pine Haven is new, and has been thoughtfully built. The cabins are roomy and well laid out, with a small but functional kitchen area at one end, and a tiny loft at the other that kids will adore. Every cabin (and RV stand) has a fire pit and picnic table, and the facility has a wide grassy area surrounding it, good for short breaks with our hound. It’s only yards from a high-speed highway: approaching from the west requires a u-turn followed by a sharp exit so keep your wits about you! The Gas Light (across the highway into Rockerville) is a true local eatery, friendly and fast. The nearest trail is The Flume, only a mile down the road. It’s a bit steep in places, but well worth it.

This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. The staff was helpful and the cabin and laundry facility were clean and well maintained. Not a single complaint about this place. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to travel to the Black Hills area!

Was given unexpected breakfast every day made things a lot easier

It was perfect for family time and activities. Planning on returning next summer with all siblings and their families. Brought back wonderful memories of my childhood and our annual family vacation to the Blackhills that I was able to share with my 2 adult children

Best stay of our entire trip and we stayed at over 15 hotels on that trip. This was by far the best! Mattresses are wonderful, spacious and all the amenities you could want!!!!

Cute, comfortable, & clean. Quick drive into Rapid or out to the hills.

My family and l Ioved getting a cabin so much that it will be peferred over a hotel in the future! It was nice to have a cook top so we could bring food and cook to cut down on costs, they also supplied some cookware and dishes. We were also only about 30 minutes from town so if we didnt feel like cooking it didnt take long to run and get something. With smaller children it was nice not having someone directly beside us. My kids loved that there was a fire pit so we could make smores and they also loved the loft. The beds were comfortable but it would have been nice if the loft mattress had bedding on it also. I alsi liked having a code to open the door, no extra key to accidently loose. In all we would definitely stat here again if we travel to the area again!

We only stayed in the cabin one night and, on our own accord, got in very late. I called to say we would be checking in after the front desk had closed, and they accommodated that no problem. We had a restful night's sleep and were on our way the next morning so we didn't get to experience the grounds much, but we did walk the dog around for 15 minutes before we left and were impressed by the cleanliness and amenities around. The people in their RVs were very friendly as well.
