Stunning hotel with top end service. Can't find anything to fault The beds are so comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent Short 3 min tuk tuk ride into town if you dont want to walk Breakfast was great Regret we didn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Newara Elliya

Private and heritage place.

There is a loud prayer sound yelling in the area twice times a day coming from the nearby temple. Narrow bathroom for the deluxe room.

This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are unbelievably kind, courteous and helpful - especially Janaka and Yomal. The room was insane - so beautiful and the attention to detail on things such as lamps, wood, taps, is utterly beautiful. Bathrobes and slippers provided, water, tea, coffee and chocolates. We were blown away on our 2 night stay. The spa was beautiful (private for 1 hour), the grounds and views are great, 6 course dinner was delicious and afternoon tea was a treat. We played billiards, the bar was beautiful, the library was lovely. There are not enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Walkable to town too, but we only left for a few hours because we just loved experiencing the hotel so much. This hotel is obviously more expensive than others you could choose but it is honestly worth it - book it! You won’t regret it.

Drinks were expensive at the bar but we understood this - alcohol is pricey across Sri Lanka and here there is bound to be a premium. Maybe some soft music in the billiard room and bar would be nice.
