Kiss Blossom

The staff were superb! We needed laundry done and they did it by weight for the next day. Wonderful. We were on our honeymoon and they prepared a lovely room for us and a seafood feast (see pictures). The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable.

There was no hot water early in the morning (before 6AM) which we needed when we had an early start for whale watching and our bathroom had a slightly unpleasant smell of dry drain...

The bats! Each evening around sunset bats would leave their daytime resting places around the lake and fly over the hotel towards the fields. We thought it was a beautiful spectacle and one we will miss for sure. The Sri Lankan rice and curry was amazing too! And last, but not least, the staff was absolutely phenomenal ❤️🥹

I got bit by a dog on the street outside the hotel. The hotel owner and staff washed my wound, helped me to the hospital, came to stay there with me until late at night and ensured I was OK, took me back to the hotel, and arranged room service for the rest of my stay. And all this just out of kindness. They did not even accept payment for all the extra work. I don't know how I would have managed without their kind help. The room was extremely clean, stylish, and spacious, and the balcony view was lovely. The lake is gorgeous and nice to sit by in the evening while enjoying the company of cheeky monkeys, bats, and other interesting animals. I would absolutely stay again!
