We booked the 2 bedroom villa and it was exceptional. Huge rooms with comfortable beds, lovely seating area and pool. Staff were amazing organising and predicting needs before we even had to ask. We loved everything about this property and staff, didn't want to leave. It is a quiet location but it was exactly what we wanted at the end of our travels around Sri Lanka. You will be welcomed by the chef who will talk through menu options and security on site 24hrs.

While there is no fridge in the rooms, there is access to the fridge in the main area that you are free to use if you prefer cold drinking water.

Wir waren 5 Nächte in der illa „Kirana“. Und es war ein absoluter Traum. Die Lage ist einmalig. Die Location lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen wird von einem echten Künstler zubereitet und das Personal ist einfach fantastisch! Wir haben die Villa zum Abschluss unserer 6-wöchigen Sri Lanka Familien-Reise als krönender Abschluss gebucht und wurden zu keinem Zeitpunkt enttäuscht. Der Preis war zu Beginn ein stolzer. Aber als wir am Ende die Rechnung bezahlt haben wurden wir ob all der beinhalteten Leistungen total überrascht. Wir waren sehr traurig die netten Menschen und die Villa verlassen zu müssen. Aber wir kommen - bei einer Rückkehr nach Sri Lanka - auf alle Fälle wieder und können die Location nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Bis auf den gelegentlich zu hörenden Verkehr und die Eisenbahn absolut gar nichts!

Dit is een top locatie! Prachtige villa in mooie tuin. Heel groot zwembad. Kamers zijn heel comfortabel hebben een fijn bed en grote badkamer. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en doet alles voor je. Het eten van kok Susil en personeel is een feestje. Wij waren er 3 nachten, hadden met z’n zessen het hele verblijf voor ons zelf. Wij hebben genoten.

Als je 1 ding moet bedenken is het de trein die je wel eens hoort.

Absolutely amazing trip in Sri Lanka - the accommodation is stunning and my children had a great time time. The staff are very accommodating making us feel welcome at all times - and the chefs were amazing, the food was incredible. We will be back.

Faultless to be honest. At the end of our trip we stayed here, it was a little haven, super peaceful and only two other couples there at the time. The food was spectacular, the chef was incredible. The pool was a gorgeous temperature, the decor was stunning. Lots of nearby restaurants on the beach to eat at too, but recommend eating at the villa! Everything about this stay was 10/10.

The only thing I would say is there should be a warning about the beach, the waves here are huge and powerful. If you went in without realising it would be dangerous, so the villa should warn guests to be careful.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. It was our final evening in Sri Lanka and wow it was so special! All the staff at the villa were so friendly, so kind and helpful. The food was the best we had on the island it was just so good! We cannot thank the team enough. They really went out of their way for us and took care of the group. A very beautiful villa and scenery in a great location. We really enjoyed Bentota and enjoyed the time at the villa!

WOW — what an unforgettable experience! This was the final stop on our honeymoon, and we truly couldn’t have ended on a higher note. We stayed for three nights in this intimate, peaceful hideaway, and for one of those nights we were the only guests — it felt like we had our own private retreat with dedicated staff. A special mention has to go to the incredible chef (with the striking blue eyes!) — he was not only exceptionally talented but also warm, thoughtful, and accommodating. He prepared a private Sri Lankan feast for us, and it was, without question, the best meal we had during our entire trip. It felt like such a privilege to experience his cooking. The room was spacious, beautifully kept, and offered stunning views. The beach was just steps away and absolutely lovely — and for those wanting to explore a little more, there were bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. One of the highlights was visiting the nearby turtle sanctuary (about a 7-minute walk), where we had the magical experience of releasing baby turtles into the ocean.

The only small piece of feedback would be the lack of coffee-making facilities in the room — I do love a morning coffee in bed!

How small and exclusive the property felt. It was perfectly located with direct beach access. Only having 4 rooms at the property meant that the service was of the highest quality. Such a lovely relaxing stay.

Nothing, there was nothing to fault.

The property is truly peaceful and incredibly beautiful, facing the ocean and framed by swaying coconut palm trees. The kids had a fantastic time in the pool, and we all enjoyed the breathtaking sunsets over the water. But the real gem of our stay was the food. The chef is exceptionally talented, preparing delicious meals tailored to our preferences and served at our convenience. It made the experience feel so personal and unforgettable.

I typically don’t give 10/10 but I have to make exception, why? 1. Facility - the mini hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. 2. People - the staff is genuinely dedicated to serve you and goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. 3. The management - always available to support and advise.
