Glacier Peak Resort and RV Park

I wish that we had known how limited the food buying options would be. Stove top was minimal for cooking. The building was very well designed and put together. Beautiful location.

We were supposed to stay two nights but ended up staying just one and eating the cost to book another hotel for the second night. Room was not ready/clean at the 3pm check in time. Instead, we pulled up and the door was wide open with a broom and dust pan sitting outside and no one around. Needless to say a lot of bugs got in. Beds were very uncomfortable. the one in the bedroom was like sleeping on a trampoline and the pull out in living room was like sleeping on wires with a blanket over. We booked this because it was close to the park but would have driven the extra 45min to stay in another town had we known.

Close to North Cascades National Park.

Sad the restaurant was closed and another nearby restaurant was closed so we had one food option close. The cabins were quite adequate. Bed was comfortable. Good shower. Rustic. Has potential but missing on a few points. Had to ask for a hair dryer...which was delivered quickly. It is what it appears to be. Appreciated the proximity to the park!

Location, staff

Could not find kitchen light switch. Ceiling fan sounded like it was going to fall off ceiling, could not use. Could not figure out fireplace. Internet did not work well. Need to restock Laundry soap in laundry room.

We had a great time at a comfortable cabin. The shower could be higher. Definitely an uncomfortable bath for a 6 feet taller but still manageable. Had a good two night stay.

Cabin out in the woods and was just what we thought it would be, out in nature. No problems at all.

The furniture was very old, the cabin was clean and cute, the sofa bed was not comfortable. Tv wasn’t playing channels or connecting or had any sound.

I really liked the place/setting. Unfortunately, things were not in our favor. We arrived 4:30pm Saturday for Mem day wknd, and had never received the email expected 24 hrs before check in. I had to search for the office. I got checked in, & received a map to our 2 bedroom cabin with the wifi pw. We went to rest after a day of driving, then realized too late that we only had 3 bath towels for four of us, and the office closed at 6. No problem, this sometimes happens in hotels and my youngest used one of the 2 hand towels to dry off. Next morning, we left in a hurry to explore, and I briefly wondered if they had maid service (nothing was explained at check in). There was no door tag provided for us to refuse cleaning. We returned after 8pm to our beds remade and the floor swept. In the bathroom were 2 clean folded bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. Yes, I was extremely annoyed that someone would see that we used every single towel the previous night and then leave us half the towels. We used a bunch of paper towels to dry off after showering. I will also mention that we shower twice a day. Overall, I would’ve loved it, but it was just not a comfortable stay, and I like comfort. If I expected sub par service, I could’ve brought all my own supplies and been a bit happier. As it were, the mattress was hard, bathroom floor was cold, no vent fan, 1ply TP, eatery closed. Blankets kept us warm, though, water hot, & AC was nice. Cabin could use many updates, but it was clean.
