Maika Safari Lodge

What a wonderful place - we couldn't recommend Maika safari lodge- the perfect place to stay for your Udawalawe Safari! The pictures online do not do this place justice! We extended our stay at the last minute to add on an extra night - on the booking site we had to switch to a smaller room due to their availability but when we arrived they were happy to let us stay in our larger room and didn't charge us extra. It was wonderful to extend our stay as the pool and balcony areas were exceptional - such a nice place to relax with a book after an early day out in the park. All the staff were so welcoming, went above and beyond and you could book a very reasonable and well reviewed safari with them direct, ditto on transfers to other parts of the island. The room was huge, so clean and felt like real luxury!

Vi bookede safari gennem hotellet og blev efterfølgende gjort opmærksom på, at vi havde betalt ret meget i overpris - næsten dobbelt . Taget hotellets billige pris for overnatning i betragtning er det ok, men jeg bryder mig ikke så meget om intransperansen.

Super günstige und gemütliche Unterkunft. Sie Betten waren sehr groß und es gab Moskitonetze. Nette Bungalows und super nettes Personal, das einem beim Safari buchen hilft.

Dadurch, dass es in der Natur ist gab es Insekte im Badezimmer (Weberknechte und Ameisen)

The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, the food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. This hotel truly delivers a complete safari experience with luxury and relaxation combined.The safari experience was absolutely incredible, with well-organized game drives, expert guides, and unforgettable wildlife sightings in their natural habitat. After an exciting safari, relaxing at the beautiful swimming pool was a real highlight, clean, spacious, and surrounded by stunning views.

Alojamiento inmejorable calidad precio, bien cuidado, trato personal, cercano. Elegimos la habitación con aire acondicionado, así que no pasamos calor, es una zona muy calorosa. Nos ofrecieron el safari que hicimos con ellos.

El safari es un poco caro, pero sin mucha diferencia a los de la zona

La piscine, la proximité du parc, l'organisation du safari, le petit déjeuner (inclus) et le souper sur place, la climatisation, la salle de bains, la disponibilité et la sympathie du personnel, la propreté de la chambre.

L'absence de papier toilette, le site à encore aménager/construire, les mouches omniprésentes (odeur de cadavre animal ? proche).
