Urban Galle Villa

The hosts were so kind, generous and friendly. They gave us a welcome drink which was fresh and tasty, they gave us pool towels and allowed our friend to visit the pool, where the gave us free mango juice. Breakfast was really authentic and tasty, and you sit on a beautiful veranda overlooking the greenery as you eat.

Sometimes loud dog fights at night outside but just wear ear plugs!

We had the pleasure of staying at Urban Galle Villa at the end of our amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. It was the perfect, peaceful place to stay, relax by the pool and watch the beautiful bird life in the area. It is only a short tuk tuk ride to the Galle Fort where we went each afternoon to explore and have dinner. The Villa is very comfortable and clean and the hosts are very welcoming, helpful and kind. They also helped us book tuk tuk rides when needed. The breakfast was delicious and a very generous serving. We would thoroughly recommend staying there and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much!

The Best thing was the absolut friedly people ( specially Kepa). We have been there with two small kids and they just gave us the feeling that we’re totally welcome. The breakfast was amazing, we got every morning some new original Sri Lankian food to taste, but even some toast and lots of fruits. The pool area was also very nice to have and the villa is in a very calm area, with two wonderful, lonely beaches.

Room was basic with balcony. Breakfast was good with lot of different food and it was served outside :) I stayed only one night and arrived late, so no idea about the surroundings.

Only warm water from shower.

Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt. Sie liegt ca 10 Minuten (mit dem Tuktuk) entfernt von Galle fort. In der Nähe, 10 Minuten fussläufig, gibt es ein sehr nettes Restaurant, sodass man abends nicht unbedingt in die Stadt fahren muss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, wie wahnsinnig nett die Gastgeber sind! Es war immer jemand vor Ort und ansprechbar, und ich wurde an meinem Abreisetag netterweise auch noch zum Bahnhof gefahren.

Simpel, maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeer behulpzaam personeel dat graag met je meedenkt. Alles is goed bereikbaar met de tuktuk. Fijn zwembad voor een heerlijke verkoeling.
