Urban Galle Villa

The swimming pool is clean and a little paradise! The room has a/c. Breakfast was big and really good. The guys at the urban galle villa are always nice, welcoming and smiley!

The door of our bathroom didn’t close and neither the windows. There was hot water in the shower, but even at maximum heat the water was warm-ish.

Nice - had the whole house to ourselves. Watched monkeys run around in the trees at breakfast which was awesome

Good location

One of the most relaxed stays in Sri Lanka. Rooms were big and clean. People were nice and breakfast good. Swimming pool pleasent and clean. Galle is easy reachable with tuk tuk. Unfortunatelly we were stuck in the hotel for a day because of sickness. But glad it was here.

Great location nestled away from noise. Nice pool to cool off. Tasty breakfast served on terrace and beautiful birds in the garden.

Loved this villa off the beaten track. Everything you need to be comfortable. Amazing price especially with breakfast included. Pool is lovely to relax in after a busy day in town. Everything is clean. Staff are amazing and helpful, organised transport, accom and safari for us the next day.

Breakfast was good. The pool is pleasant. Staff are helpful. A/C worked well. There are two outstanding restaurants nearby - Luuma and Shelter Beach - both went a long way towards improving our stay.

The hotel needs some finessing. Most of windows and doors don't line up with the catches. Plug sockets were loose. Sadly the neighbouring properties are residential. One neighbour had a radio blaring from 7am which woke all of us up. Second night, neighbourhood dogs started a 'conversation' loudly, from 2am - 4am. Sleep was impossible. Additionally, there was a loud pump running intermittently on the roof of our room - needs to be relocated, which the owner is intending to do. I hate leaving a bad review, as they are genuinely pleasant, but a few days with a general handyman tidying up and do small jobs would help. Neighbours cant be helped, which is sad for the hotel.

These guyssss <3 could not have been better. They were so genuinely interested in us having a lovely time. As a woman travelling alone with a kid, I felt so safe and even in just two nights I felt very familiar. Everything was a reasonable price, they were actively ensuring we didn’t get ripped off. The place was extremely clean and my son LOVED the pool so much. They really went out of their way for him, taking him to a lovely personable hatchery and even to the factory of a jewellers to, with guidance, make a ring himself out of a gem he picked himself. It was a truly special experience here

Friendliest owners, amazing breakfast, beautiful pool area. Liked my stay so much that I came back for another night.
