Casa Hotel Mamaluna

It was quiet and the view from our room was fantastic. The gardens are beautiful and they have a fire pit that we used both nights. It was nice to have an apartment and be able to make coffee and have a fridge. There are the amenities to make your own food as well. They brought our food to us at our room which was very nice. The pool was really cool with a bridge. The kids loved it. The lights in the pool were fun too. They also had great lights at night to set the mood as well as smooth jazz during dinner time. That may not be everyone's jam though. Breakfast in the morning was great and they provided eggs, coffee and bread. There was chicharron one morning and tamales the next for an additional cost. They provided fans because there are no air conditioners. We used Sol y Rio to go ziplining and rafting and highly recommend them because they picked us up from the hotel and offered a great experience.

Unfortunately, we found the apartment dirty when we arrived. The coffee maker had old grinds with mold growing on it which means the kitchen may not have been cleaned for a while. They responded quickly and replaced the coffee maker with a new one. They advertise a bar but there was not working bar during our stay. The skylight was cool but it would be lovely to have an option to cover it as well as curtains to cover the windows. The windows did have a layer on them so you can't see in during the day but at night we had to change in the corner of the room or the bathroom so as not to be seen from outside. I was excited to use the hammocks but they showed instability so I did not stay in them. Finally, in order to get in and out of the hotel there has to be someone awake to let you in. We did not have this problem but there were others who rang and rang. I notified the owners via whatsapp to let them in and they finally did. It is a lovely place but they really need more workers to make sure that visitors are well looked after.

בעלי המקום והצוות נחמדים מאוד ואדיבים מאוד. כל מה שביקשנו הם עשו בשמחה. המקום יפיפה עם נוף מדהים. הבריכה כיפית (אבל עמוקה), הגינה מאוד יפה וכיפית לילדים. האווירה הייתה רגועה ונעימה.

המיטות לא מאוד נוחות. זרם המים במקלחת היה חלש מאוד. לא היה במטבח שמן לבישול או תבלינים, רק קצת מלח וסוכר. האינטרנט היה די חלש באזור שלנו. לדעתנו המחיר היה גבוה יחסית לתנאים.

La atención cercana y amable en combinación con el ambiente y arquitectura del hotel. Varios espacios para las celebraciones que necesites: fogata, mesa grande, parrillas, horno y chimenea.

En realidad nada, todo muy bien.

Hermoso jardín y lugar para desconectarse.

El trato del personal muy bueno, serviciales y dispuestos a dar soluciones rápidas, las instalaciones muy cómodas, un ambiente muy tranquilo ideal para relajarse

Quizás la ubicación, por la distancia a la ciudad, es conveniente ir con movilidad propia si deseas salir de noche a recorrer la ciudad

+ Precioso jardín y detalles arquitectónicos lo hacen muy acogedor. + A pesar que no es un terreno grande, tiene muchos rincones donde sentarse entre árboles, en el balcón, etc. + Los dueños viven ahí y están pendientes de todo. Los cuartos son muy cómodos.

– Opciones de comida en la noche son limitadas (2 ó 3 platos: "lo que toque hoy") y en la zona no hay muchos sitios para cenar. – No hay agua caliente en el lavatorio. –Todas las zonas comunes (comedor, sala de estar, etc.) son abiertas. En la noche cuando fuimos (Julio) hace frío. Los cuartos si son calientes.

El hotel y el servicio estuvieron de lo mejor. El lugar es muy lindo, rodeado de la naturaleza. Todos fueron atentos con nosotros y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía en Lunahuana. Se los recomiendo!! The hotel and service was amazing. The place is beautiful and full of nature. The staff were very attentive and they made us feel like home. We enjoyed our stay in Lunahuana. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was excellent! Good service and perfect environment. When I finished all my plans, I enjoyed staying inside because there were so many options to spend the time like the pool, the garden, the wood fire, grill food.
