Big Cabin on the Creek

We appreciate them allowing us to get in early as we were attending a wedding. Loved the all the views of the creek with our morning coffee. Enjoyed the option of beds as there is many. My parents need a softer mattress and I was able to find a firmer mattress at the top level. The living room area was nice and big. We wish we would have been able to do a whole weekend there and truly enjoy it. Pop in some movies and cozy up by the fireplace.

Just noting there are 3 levels of stairs. We definitely got our workout in. My mom struggled with her knee but it was worth it. We made finding the cabin harder than it was. We called the number and he quickly corrected us. It was our fault for not even thinking of it but we came flying in to change before the wedding and didn’t even think of food. We ate at Big Trees but then got hungry again. By 9 everything was closed. We scavenged the pantry to see if there was anything we could make. There was one box of expired mac and cheese but no ingredients. Which isn’t their fault and we definitely should have thought of it but it would have been nice to maybe have some backup kitchen pantry food items. Especially if you get snowed in. Maybe hot cocoa, can of soup or oatmeal. Cheap but for emergencies.
