"Unfinished and scary experience"

4.0

This resort is not finished and not fully operational. The main building and pool are under construction and not looking like they will be open any time soon. We were the only guests at the resort (which was terrifying), so, they had very limited food items and a very small staff. We were handed a menu, but they had none of the items on the menu. The cabins were nice and clean, but our family cottage was at the back of the resort. This is where the terrifying part comes in!!! At 2 o'clock in the morning, our doorbell rang and I looked out the window and saw no one. My wife told me not to open the door, as it could be somebody trying to lure us out, we are not close to the office and there was very little staff, we were in a foreign country, out in the middle of the boonies. Needless to say, I did not sleep much that night!!! The breakfast was pretty good, but my wife and daughter were too traumatized to eat. This place has potential, when it's completed, but for now, I would avoid it, unless you are traveling with a very large group and they fully staff and stock the food on the menu.
