Lovely Bright Apt with Pool and Gym by Zodiak Stays

The apartment was comfortable and of a good size. It felt warm during the harsh winter time. It is incredibly well-located.

The sauna’s temperature was quite low. It’s located inside the gym and swimming pool area, but every time I stepped out, the room felt freezing by comparison. The sauna didn’t seem to be in the best location either. To get to it you had to walk through an open area that felt especially cold after working out or coming out of the sauna.

The location was easy access to many amenities.

Being deducted $185 from the deposit for a small pen mark on the carpet, of which WE DID NOT DO. There were no pens or writing pads to cause this and also, we didn't have any pens on us because everything required during our stay was electronic-based. We raised the question of how a small pen mark could be so expensive to rectify and we got no validation from the hosts to show evidence of same affected area being unblemished from any prior guests. This could have been easily overlooked from a previous stay. Lesson learned. Take photos of everything as you enter any Air BnB if you don't want to get caught out next time.

SCAMMERS! charged for a stained duvet that we did not stain. This property requires a deposit after it has been booked and then makes a fraudulent claim. We did not expect to have to look under the sheet wrapped duvet to ensure its cleanliness. The property claims their housekeepers report such things as they happen but clearly did not as we did nothing to cause multiple types of stains. If there was staining it happened before us - so what other cleaning was being neglected? The property sent us three photos of different kinds of stains that certainly did not look like fresh stains. There were no clear instructions for how to use the heating system or appliances - guests are expected to download manuals - not what you want to do at the end of a long day of travel.

Loved this place! It has a lovely big room and bed. The pool was great as well!

Access to the pool was great, the german restaurant in the building was delicious and the apartment itself was a relaxing end to our holiday in New Zealand.
