Small size made for quiet stay and easy to access faciliiies. Lovely treed setting and hillside gardens were a homely touch. Cabin was thoroughly clean and bedding was of good standard: nice laundered white cotton sheets. Located very conveniently in southern suburbs near main roads and public transport. Staff were very helpful and informative. Free loan of Auckland Transport card by front desk was very much appreciated.

We arrived in town for the Foo Fighters concert and needed somewhere close. Touchwood was a good price for what we were looking for - parents with 3 tee nagers. The boys loved a dip in the pool. I have 2 things that make a stay comfortable - good bed and great water pressure in the shower. Touchwood had both of these! Unfortunately the power went out on a really hot day and the sinks werent draining properly, but staff were very apologetic and got onto to it straight away.
