Buffalo Lodge

Amazing views and beautiful place, felt like we were staying in a tree house with views over the tree tops. Eli was a wonderful host and not forgetting Toni and her tasty bakes!

Nothing, wished we stayed for longer.

Planté dans la végétation exubérante de Coromandel, le studio que nous avions choisi nous a comblés. Il est propre, confortable, très spacieux, et très bien équipé . La vue est splendide et le calme règne. Les victuailles dans le réfrigérateur pour le petit déjeuner étaient excellentes (confitures maison!). Merci pour ce beau séjour!.

Chambre petite sans possibilité d’ouvrir totalement les fenêtres. La qualité du petit déjeuner serait améliorée en proposant des œufs , et du jus de fruits à la place de l’eau….

The lodge itself is beautiful. It has a wide deck and amazing views from every room. The breakfast is mixed with homemade items and traditional staples that will please anyone. The beds are comfortable. Guests have access to the kitchen so while we originally planned to eat out for dinner, we instead picked up some groceries and prepared our own meals each night. Kerry was a wonderful, preparing the breakfast and offfering tips on what to visit around the area.

Everything about my stay was absolutely perfect. Abby and Eli were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any questions. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. This was my first stay in New Zealand, and they set the bar extremely high. The lodge was spotless and thoughtfully designed with so much care. The breakfast was entirely homemade and delicious, and the fridge was stocked with homemade spreads, rye bread, yogurt, and milk. I’ve been traveling around New Zealand for a week now, and nowhere has compared to Buffalo Lodge. An unforgettable stay!
