A lovely comfortable house with ample sized rooms and good shared spaces, the terrace and lounge in particular were perfect for relaxing in.

Nothing was wrong with the property - it was a long cycle to the wineries in Renwick but that’s the fact of being in Blenheim where there are public transport options.

Not that I don’t like, but it’s just a bit old.

The facilities were good.

Shared bathroom. However, this was not an issue as the other room on our floor was not occupied.

Easy good location for some walking. Close to city trail.

Shared bathroom was not good. Trail attracted transients with potential of crime.

The only thing that could have been better would be to have had a larger fridge. With all of the facilities and equipment to cook your own meals, the little bar fridge was a bit small. However, everything else was great.

An interesting place to stay with good opportunities to meet fellow travellers, if that's something you enjoy.

Location was good, price was fair, but you get what you pay for.

Pictures for location where somewhat deceiving. Unit looked more updated and clean in pictures then it presented. Bed spread had pet hair woven throughout the fibers! Bedroom itself had a somewhat disgusting smell to it. Couldn't tell what it was. Overall the home was very worn! Handicap handle and bathroom was loose on the wall, no outlet in the bathroom for anyone to use a hair dryer or a curling iron! Mirror in main bathroom appeared like it was taken off of a table and hung on a wall! There isn't a permanent mirror in the bathroom to begin with! Many walls were dirty and scraped up and top shelf in the bedroom closet was disgusting! One of the dining room chair seat pads was not connected at all! One of us nearly fell to the floor because of this! There was exposed wiring in the bathroom for the towel rack! Not sure if this was live and we just kept away from it, but it shouldn't have been there to begin with! The area was very noisy with the kids in the backyard area from the nursery or church nearby. Also, there is a lot of foot traffic on the public walkway at the front of the house. Went all three rooms are being rented, it is very difficult to park in the designated parking area. It seems the people that are matching the property are not doing a great job washing the linens either, as a good amount of the towels had a disgusting smell to them, as if they've been left in the washing machine overnight! This was witnessed on-site as well, as during our second day, someone came in to clean up and left all the towels in the washing machine when they left. There's nothing like taking a shower and then drying yourself off and smelling dirty again! I guess sharing the home with two other potential parties is not that bad overall, but when they cook in the kitchen and don't clean up after themselves, you have to think that you are basically renting a home that is like a youth hostel!
