There is lots to like about U Suites on Cuba. > Very affordable if you are staying as as group. > Spacious and comfortable premises. The large room sizes and the high ceilings were appreciated. > Each of the rooms had a heater so it kept each room warm when the temperature dropped at night. > Central city location so everything you need is a short walk away (perfect if you're doing the self guided pub crawl and don't want anyone to miss out) > Secure: you need three codes to enter the premises so we felt very safe. > Good customer service: communication over the phone and on email with Chimay, the Duty Manager, was good and he was very helpful.

> You can't open the windows to let in fresh air. > The location of the light switches are in odd places in relation to the lights they control so it can be especially difficult to find the right switch in the dark. > The staircase is pitch black when you ascend or descend at night. We had to use our phone torches to see where we were going. > The power socket behind the couch, in the corner of the room, is disconnected from the wall and while it did work, it looks like a hazard that a small child staying on the premises would love to explore with their hands which is scary to think of. > The bathroom is fine, but it isn't perfect (toilet is too close to sink so tall people hit their left leg on the cabinet, shower doors don't close securely so water can shoot through the gap, also those shower doors are awkward and try to close on you when you're getting in and out of the shower. This is me answering the question, but its nitpicking because I would stay here again if it was available.

It was cold. Curtains coming off the rails. Electric blankets would of been nice for such a cold property. We did not realise the venue was above shops.

One bathroom is inadequate for 7 people. Curtains falling off in bedroom. Only 6 chairs at dining table. Very small and inadequate living area for 7 people. No dishcloth in kitchen.

Incredible location, fantastic rooms with high ceilings and lots of space. Felt very safe and enjoyed spending time at the property.

Kitchen needed a tea towel and some lamps would have added a lot as an alternative to the fluorescent lights.

How big it was, and the location. Comfortable beds

The shower door feel off. The fire place in one of the rooms was letting in lots of cold air, so it was very freezing. There was no lamps in the rooms

Location was good. Room sizes are massive. Actually the whole suite is pretty massive. Good for travelling workers, or two couples etc. Really we liked most things about the place. The shower door indeed doesn't fully close, but this was a nonissue as it is only open by a couple of inches and didn't spray water everywhere or anything like that. Overall we were really happy with our stay. A second toilet would have been nice also, but we knew going into it that there was only one, so I can't take points off for that.

So the bedrooms have these mega deadbolt type locks and at 9pm I closed my door to go to the bathroom, on return the door had self-locked. You really need to put a sign somewhere in the house explaining where the internal keys are kept for this situation, as I locked my phone in my room during this and if my colleagues didn't have your number I would have been locked out for the night. It was an easy fix in the end after calling you, but a simple sign or warning about this in the welcome email is pretty necessary. If it was my kids locked in the room then I probably wouldn't be so forgiving.

Didn’t have towels when we arrived - resolved quickly Shower never closed properly. Entrance could do with a bit of refining was alarm arrive to the entrance. Need to wait about 10 seconds before opening the doors
