Armour Eclectic Villa

Well presented comfortable well equipped inside and outside great views from the balcony’s. Very secure.

The little step down to pool level from the seating area outside the kitchen caught a few of us out. To lock the main exit door from inside meant removing the fob that controls the electricity putting people in the dark while that process was completed a simple bolt on the door would be much safer and easier to operate.

This villa is quite new and is stunning. It is a large 4 bed, 3 bathroom set on 3 levels and very well appointed. The size of the rooms and space is excellent and the quality of the furnishings and fittings is very good. The dining table on the balcony of the 1st floor is a great place to have meals ......we had a bbq and ate up there one night - it was lovely especially with the views. The bedroom and bathroom in the 2nd floor is an excellent self contained space for a teen.... our 19yr old loved the ability to "isolate" 😊. The bean bags and the sunbeds are excellent and very comfortable.

The villa is large on the inside, but rather poor on the outside. There is a pool which is very close to the building (5ft ?) and then a small area for sunbeds and bean bags. The things we would improve are : 1. There are no umbrellas/parasols.....so you cannot just lie in the shade for a while. 2. There are no large glasses ...so any cooling drink (beer etc) had to be in a very small glass 3. There are coffee machines and food mixers, but no toaster. 4. We arrived for a week on the Saturday. The cleaners came on the Thursday to change the sheets (no cleaning). Perhaps it would be better if they came in the middle of the stay, rather than the day before we go home. 5. We asked for a late checkout due to late flights and they said it would be €482. This seemed outrageously high to us and we declined. They then offered it to us at €241 !!! We still declined. 6. There is a "card" with the keys, which has to be inserted into a slot to operate the electrics in the villa (like some budget hotels in UK). This means you cannot cool the villa whilst out and it gets very hot during the day, so when you return its quite uncomfortable for some time. 7. We hired a car (due to the location you have no choice) and there is parking within the grounds of the villa. However, the "turning space" is filled with deep decorative stone and we struggled to turn the car around at the top of the drive, as the car kept digging its wheels into the deep gravel. Perhps it could be less deep and therefore easier to manoeuvre Overall, its a nice villa, very well specified, but needs some things correcting to make it an exceptional villa.
