Pudding Hill Lodge & Chalets

Very nice and quiet location, great facilities. As expected.

The rooms were a bit hot when I arrived after a sunny day.

Nice chalet in a rural area with a beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. At night you can see the stars very well. We liked the extra living room, the sunny balcony and the provided hot water bag. Would highly recommend!

The shower was a bit small for a tall person

Booked at last minutes due to travel changes. Clean and well presented, 2 bedrooms for the family and a good kitchen. Lovely views and off the beaten track, Ideal for us on the way south.

Not within walking distance of shops, but not really an issue for us.

The bathroom did not have an electric socket so you could not use the hairdryer in the bathroom and there was no other mirror in the apartment. Also the mirror in the bathroom was not over the sink so made shaving difficult for my husband. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

It was a beautiful place to stay in especially because it was such a secluded area with beautiful view of the mountains. We also got to stargazed at night! The place was well equipped with kitchen things to use and a living room. It was like a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay.

We weren’t sure if the beddings were supposed to be made beforehand but it was fine overall!

Stunning view and close to mountain for ski field.

No internet and a bit cold.

We like the location for location (we skiied at Mount Hutt for 4 days). The kitchen had everything we needed and loved the lambs and bulls outside.

Unfortunately the chalets are paper thin so we could hear EVERYTHING from the people staying above... their coughs, brushing their teeth, conversations... creaking floors as they moved. It meant after a day skiing with 4 kids who desperately wanted to sleep, were kept up until the people above us slept at about 11.30pm. After 4 nights of this we started to feel a bit hopeless and would have moved chalets. And it wasn't the people's fault who were staying above.... just creeky roof and poor sound insulation.
