Ive stayed a few times as I fly into Dunedin and travel up to Oamaru. I have to ph each time to make sure I have a bottom bunk for health reasons stuffed knees and vertigo. Staff are always good at making sure I get a bottom bunk when I call. Its good to deal with real people and having a place to store my gear and staff on till my bus leaves at 12ish. That's why I always use uptown backpackers over others.

The people here are sociable, it's in walking distance to literally anything I'd need and the beds are amazing!!! The staff are very helpful. This is my third time staying and so many upgrades have been made since my first stay
