Bilbao APARTAMENTOS Zorroza

Great base for exploring Bilbao and the surrounding areas due to many options of public transport and cycling paths nearby. There are even a few free of charge parking lots within walking distance, but I suggest to note the locations beforehand on a map. It might take a few minutes to find a free spot, but we managed to find one every day. Large bathroom & bath. Kitchen fully equipped for cooking at home, but bring your own spices and oil. AC worked great in heating mode. Other reviews mention difficulty of finding the property or lack of parking options - we didn't have any issues. We also didn't think the area was dodgy as others have mentioned. It's just a basic residential area.

Ground floor is possibly for some travellers a plus and close to railway station

Mould in corridor ceiling and bathroom. Resulted in my asthma getting bad during the night and ruined holiday.

The appartment was spacious and well located, less than 10minutes, by train or car, from the center of Bilbao.

It wasn't very clean, specially the floor. The cleanliness is really important to have a pleasant stay.

The apartment itself was great. New, clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities and utilities

The location was not great, especially for families. While the parking in the street is free, it is a residential neighborhood and there were no places left whatsoever during the night. We had to park far away and with two daughters plus the fact that the neighborhood was quite dodgy, it didn't feel safe.
