House&Villas - La Giara

Una villa bella, con molto spazio ed un bel verde. La vicinanza al mare è molto utile anche se la spiaggia é di roccia e con una bimba piccola bisogna stare attenti

Casa molto grande, pulita, comoda, bagni moderni spaziosi, patio esterno coperto grande per mangiare e rilassarsi, accesso a bella scogliera per fare il bagno in pochi minuti a piedi, parcheggio interno, posizione comoda con autostrada, città e servizi

Strada di accesso per raggiungere la villa un po' stretta e scomoda quando si incontrano altri veicoli

Great place for a vacation! if you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful nature by the sea, then this is definitely the best option. There is a very beautiful beach nearby. Beautiful large territory, the house is in excellent condition. large terrace, where you want to meet the dawns and evenings. in general, a very calm and beautiful city of Avola, from where you can go to other cities, from where you can see all the beauties nearby. We went to Syracuse, Modica and Noto, which are must-sees if you're in Sicily. no minuses. We liked everything very much, a good place for rest and relaxation.

The size of the place

1. You have to monitor the water level and turn on the pump regularly. 2. Pans and pots are old and super scratched. 3. The washing machine is very old, rusty and dirty. We had to have a technician coming and repair it. 4. Windows are old and very noisy. 5. Dogs outside are constantly barking in the night. 6. Mattresses are old and provide zero support. I basically slept terribly for one week. 7. The check in process is extremely time consuming as you need to fill out the personal data by yourself. 8. The area is in front of the sea BUT there is no real beach at walking distance, only cliffs. 9. To reach the house you need to drive through a tiny path in a terrible shape for 2km. My car was barely going through without scratches. 10. There were spiders in the house ceilings and little spiders coming down the fire place where my kids where sleeping. 11. The furniture in the house is crap. Either cheap or broken. Overall it was a very uncomfortable staying. So much stress during a time of vacation. I strongly suggest you to find better options.

Very narrow road to villa

Villa is spacious with beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Nice outdoor patio to sit and have a coffee. Very quiet and peaceful place, perfect for bigger groups or families.

The drive to the villa is through a narrow one way road which could be stressful for less experienced drivers. Also since the villa is not at a walkable distance to any shops I would advice the hosts to add couple small things like kitchen towels, coffee and essentials for cooking as it is normally expected to be in the house. But these are just minor suggestions overall place is beautiful.
