Kathisma Sunset Villlas

gorgeous views anc sunsets..quiet location but easy access by car to village

there were safety issues for young children.eg open staircases tgat didn't have guards or gates .the property seemed under equipped in terms of utensils eg only one sharp knife and a lack oc oven pans for self catering..no barbecue

As the name suggests the villa has a west facing view over the sea which means a fantastic view of the sunset. Its a modern built villa, pool want large but deep and fine for a cool off.. it was very near the beaches and some nice villages.

Not shown on photos but the one bedroom villa we stayed in is next to an old quarry with plots laid out for more villas. We were woken up to a digger loading stones. Thr agent saud they could not do anything about it but when we saud we would leave a review mentioning this they spoke to the owner who had it stopped. So worth checking beforehand if any works are being carried out. The other 2 above iare on a steep hill worth noting. When we arrived there was only a single bed sheetnon the double bed so we had to ask for it tp be changed. The privided coffee machine was broken. The property advertises bbq and tolietries, no bbq was provided and the toiletries were used shower gel bottles left by previous occupants. There is no dining table or chairs outside on the patio. Thr double bed is in the roof room but positioned such thst thwre are no lamps or sockets near by and limited headroom on one side. The curtsin doea bot fit the window and there is a security light permsnently on the stairs which lights the room so it stsys well lit sll night. The downstaird shoeer room is grest but the upstairs one has a shower curtsin rather thsn screen which clings to ypu whilst showering snd i jmagine this will smell by the end of season! There us no dishwasher and we were not provided anything to dry dishes. The beaxh pathbis closed off although nearest beachbis only 5 min drive. Overall the poation was great , villa modern, pool good if not lsrge but the attention to detail is missing. This seems to have been the case last year based on reviews too. All easy things to rectify to make a fantastic place to stay.

Partea de piscină, faptul ca se vedea superb apusul, iar livingul a fost conform așteptărilor. Plus, proprietara a fost foarte drăguță

Nu am știut înainte să rezervăm ca 2 dintre camere sunt la subsol, iar a 3 a este la mansarda, dar e open space. Noi am închiriat vila cu 3 dormitoare din mijloc. Alt aspect ușor negativ a fost faptul ca nu aveam produse de toaletă, nici mop/matura/aspirator pentru a ne putea face curățenie.

Locatia buna, aproape de plaja Kathisma, vila arata foarte bine. Apusul se vedea direct de pe terasa. O cazare excelenta. As reveni cu drag.

Lovely villa, great size for 3 adults and 2 teens. Pool and sunset views were amazing. Pool was a perfect size, the villa itself had an everything you need. It’s a lovely location very quiet and peaceful and only 5 mins drive from my he beach and the little fishing village and only 20 mi a to the main old town. Sofia the host was very friendly and very fast to answer any questions.

We stayed at the top of the drive in the 2 bed property. My hire car struggled to get up the hill so would advise trading up to a decent size car.

Even though we arrived at 1am due to flight delays, Elena was there to handover the keys. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa at the top - view is amazing! Good size swimming pool (especially kids loved it) overlooking the Ionian see. Just 3 minutes away from Kathisma beach and not so far away from Lefkada city. We would definitely stay here if we are back in Lefkada!

We had to leave once vacation was over.
