The cottage was very small and quite basic The shower had poor water pressure WiFi and mobile signal were unreliable, and you had to reset the router despite instructions not to The EV chargers were poor and didn’t work properly The crockery was in poor condition and needed washing before use The bin bags didn’t fit any of the bins The towels were not adequate in size for adults Overall, it wasn’t comfortable for spending much time in, only really suitable for sleeping
GBGBIt's in a good location for exploring the Gower. The beds were comfy. The shepherd's shop next door was wonderful, fantastic food, great staff.
It wasn't clean, cobwebs everywhere, what looked like toenails among the dust behind the bedside table, it smelled fusty and the first thing we did was open all the windows. Bought anti bac spay and air freshener to help, but left the spiders and the toenails! The floors were full of dirt, my friend got out of the shower, walked upstairs and back, and her feet were filthy underneath. We had to wash any cutlery, pans and crockery before we used them. It's really small, it was a struggle for 3 adults to sit, let alone use the kitchen to cook a meal. The toaster would only work if you kept your finger the the lever. The bathroom being off the kitchen and living room is not good, for obvious reasons. Whoever took the photos did a great job. It really does look lovely on the photos. It's very noisy as it's so close to the main road and that meant sleeping was awful, as it was so hot we had to have the window open. Sorry, but the cleaners need some direction as to what 'clean' looks like.

GBOxwich cottage is in a brilliant location on Gower, with a brilliant bakery and coffee shop nearby. It was clean and welcoming and we had a very good stay.
