"Milan cottage, winter stay"

9.0

Homely cosy cottage. Kitchen very well equipped, decent sized shower downstairs but great to have a toilet up with the bedrooms. Comfy living area and games, DVD, books etc. Just on the outskirts of Port Eynon so walkable to the pub but definitely need a torch at night. We stayed in the wet winter and it was lovely to have beaches around to walk our mud magnet of a dog on!

Not what we did not like but hopefully helpful suggestions for the owners. Access to an outside hose to wash dogs off would have helped us. We are only partially tech savvy so we needed to ask for help with the heating controller, which was OK when the owners returned, but not if they are away so maybe a little more explanation of the HIVE system in the welcome book would be useful. Also maybe a bit more of a war on the cobwebs etc downstairs. Minor things and we had a lovely time and would definitely return.
