Royal Oak House by Tŷ SA - 5 bedroom house

Beautiful rooms, amazing location. Very clean.

Great space; comfortable beds; generous kitchen; off-road parking; brilliant location for local amenities and exploring the area.

Hard to regulate hot and cold water in the showers; overgrown garden with builders' rubbish on one side (would not have been safe for young children); some of the carpet tacks were poking out of the carpet on the stairs.

Location was good, not far from city centre and nice sized house for the price. Good utilities with 3 seperate bathrooms and a kitchen and a store room with washing machine, iron etc. House was well prepared and came with all towels, shower items, cooking utensils and wifi included.

A few issues such as downstairs light flickering, and downstairs bathroom light not working. Aswell as upstairs shower holder not staying up properly all the time, meaning it was preferable to use the middle floor shower.

House, and bedrooms were much larger than expected. Kitchen was well appointed. Having 3 toilets, one on each floor was a bonus. We were able to park 2 large cars on the driveway in front of the house, despite what other reviews said. And the road just before the house had on street parking so not a problem for our other drivers. Lovely clean, fresh linen. And plenty soap and toiletries for us to use. We really enjoyed our stay. Great value for money.

The down stairs toilet light wasn't working - but we managed. Good communication when we raised our issues though. A dishwasher, a few more folding chairs for the dining table and black out/ darker blinds for the bedrooms would have made it even better! But without them, we'd still rent it again if we were back in Cardiff.

Road noise can be an issue if your not a deep sleeper

Kitchen didn't have any ventilation because the windows were blocked. The room had a weird smell when we arrived.
